I am Ainara, 24-year old Basque girl seeking for new advertures. After this last year living back home in my little village, I would love to travel through Europe this summer to connect again with that part of ‘myself’ that enjoys meeting new people and places, inmersing in different cultures, sharing new experiences… and that's why I believe that workaway is the best opportunity to continue creating life-adventures!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Let me begin by mentioning that I’m an adventurous person, so I don’t have any rigid plan at the moment, I like to go with the flow!
I am a friendly and out-going person who enjoys good conversations and groups plans, but I also appreciate silence and quiet moments, where I can spend time on my own writing, reading or listening to music.
In 2022, after finishing my university studies, I moved to Australia with a Working Holiday visa. As I spent most of the time living in hostels where I used to work to get free accomodation, I have experience in this area. Although I spent most of the time working as a housekeeper, I also helped in recepcion, maintenance or preparing breakfast. I really enjoy the hostel-life and the opportunity that this gives you to share, work in groups, make new friends (and families)…
I also have experience in the agricultuture and hospitality industry (as a barista, bartender…), as well as with children and teenagers, since I have worked as a leisure time instructor most of my life.
I am always willing to learn new things and I involve myself one hundred per cent in all the projects I am involved at the time. I always try to create positive and safe/healthy environments in my surroundings by encouraging sincere and respecful communication, so that we all can feel comfortable and have the best time.

I like spending time in the nature (go for walks, hiking, swin in the ocean...) and I would love to learn more about gardening.
Morever, I really enjoy cooking for (and with) others and sharing the meals with them, as I understand it as a gesture of love.
