Description

I'm Andrés, a 26-year-old economist and lawyer with a passion for the culture, agriculture, eco-architecture and nature landscape. I've spent the last three years working in a team of the Land Observatory in Colombia on agrarian studies.

I'm a coffee lover. When I was college student, I worked as a barista in a coffee shop in Bogotá and I know about coffee varieties, drying and preparation methods. I love sharing Colombian culture with people over a good cup of coffee. I am passionate about literature, I find in it a way to get to know different cultures and life experiences. I am excited to talk about Latin American literature and I want to learn more about authors from other latitudes.

Recently, my family and I have embarked on an exciting environmental recovery project. We're working to restore deforested land in a responsible way, using vermiculture, bird watching, planting for consumption, and the planting of native trees to promote biodiversity in the region. It's been a challenging and rewarding experience, and I'm proud to be part of a project that's making a positive impact on the environment.

Currently, I'm traveling around the world, with my cousin, participating in volunteer projects and soaking up new experiences wherever we go.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a lawyer and economist with a current candidacy for a Master's degree in political studies. My main goal is to improve my French and English language skills while also helping others learn and improve their Spanish language abilities.

Outside of academics, I have diverse interests and skills. I have a strong knowledge of coffee and various filter preparations, as well as coffee-based drinks. Growing up with dogs and cats, I have extensive experience in pet care. I am also experienced in caring for gardens and farm animals, having helped my sister with her rural school garden and animals during regular visits.

In addition, I have a basic knowledge of electricity and am capable of performing minor electrical repairs. I have experience with painting, furniture installation, and other general DIY activities.

Cooking and sharing meals with others is one of my passions, and I have experience preparing vegetarian dishes due to my time as a vegetarian. Lastly, I am an avid dancer and enjoy teaching others who are interested in learning.

I have a passion for hiking and exploring the great outdoors. Cycling is one of my favorite activities, and I enjoy taking long walks in both urban and rural settings.

Literature is another one of my interests, and I have a particular fascination with Latin American literature. However, I am eager to expand my knowledge and explore literature from other regions of the world.
