Description

Hello! I am a Texan born native to the USA, but now I call Kansas City, Missouri, my home. I am currently a college student at UMKC in Kansas City, and I graduate next year with a B.S. in Computer and Electrical Engineering.
I am someone who loves travel and loves work. Ever since going on a 3,000 mile road trip with some friends of mine I haven't stopped traveling since!
I love having opportunities to serve people and communities and also getting to explore and learn new cultures and languages.
I have gotten to help with various construction projects, I helped build a gym in Mexico. It was primarily working with concrete. I have served in schools in South Africa, as well as some various small childcare groups.
I primarily have a passion for traveling, learning new skills, and getting to serve others!

I have always been jealous of anyone who can speak more than two languages. I hope to be at that level someday, and want to work to get there! I think communication is a very fun concept and seeing how languages shape cultures makes me all the more interested in wanting to learn more.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a computer and electrical engineer, and currently work as a technician in an Aerospace company. I have hobbies that include making small things with electronics, fixing trucks and cars, and fixing things in general. I mainly have a joy for problem solving, fixing things is what I most enjoy, and whatever it takes to fix something - I am willing to do it. I am not afraid to get my hands greasy if it means a job well done. I have had experience in tutoring mathematics as well. I have worked as a public and private tutor for multiple people.

I enjoy playing board games or party games, some of my favorites would be: Settlers of Catan, Munchkins, and Coup. I mainly enjoy getting to know people over games, and you see a great side of people when playing games with them.

I also enjoy peaceful walks, hiking, or camping. One of my favorite places to hike was a trail called Gold Chord Trail in the mountains of Alaska, honestly a hike through any mountain is always amazing.

I also enjoy reading! one of my favorite books would be the Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri, I read a lot self-development books, I learned a lot from Jordan Peterson's book "12 Rules of Life".

Lastly, I love meeting new people! I currently live in a house with two other college room mates and we host people almost every other week!
I know how to play the piano and the acoustic and bass guitar, that is one of my favorite pass times. I mainly play classical music or ragtime on piano, but I am always down to learn new music.
