Description
We are a couple from beautiful Shropshire, England. We share a huge passion and love for the outdoors. We both enjoy trail running, hiking and cycling. In our free time we will find any excuse to get out and explore the world, especially areas of natural beauty. The relentless pace of every day life in the UK can become a lot for both of us and we find so much peace and calm when we are away from it, in nature. We are both extremely motivated to become the best versions of ourselves that we can be, taking a huge interest in mindfulness especially. Hence, what is leading us to come and explore South America. We hope to find more happiness in travelling areas of the world that may not have so much material assets as the Western society but who appreciate the things that really matter. We want to spend our time working and volunteering, to maintain a healthy balance of putting our combined skills to good use, alongside exploring and immersing ourselves in such a beautiful culture.

Jack has been learning Spanish on and off for 2 years, spending 3 months in Mexico a couple of years ago. Abbie has been learning since the beginning of April 2024.

Jack:
- Carpenter - varied skills in all general carpentry on new builds and renovations. Bespoke built wardrobes and roofing are two of my favourite areas
- Creative mindset
- High motivation/energy levels when carrying out projects/own personal goals
- intermediate level of Spanish spoken/written
- Set up an Instagram page to promote wellness + general happiness, which received really good feedback
Abbie:
- Tattoo artist
- Beginner level of Spanish spoken/written
- Creative mindset, being able to translate peoples visions into reality
- Passion for cooking and learning about different cuisines, often organising gatherings to cook for my friends and family
- Loves painting + drawing
