Hola!!! Que tal? Estamos viajando en la península Ibérica desde enero 2023.

Trabajabamos mucho en el campo y obras. Nuestros intereses estan permacultura, trabajar en jardín o proyectos forestal y hacer de obras en casas.

Gustaríamos practicar más Castellano en la vida real. Así lo que más importante ahora es trabajar en un lugar con gente donde tenemos que hablar español.

Explico mas de quien somos nosotros en Ingles porque es mas fácil, lo siento. Puedes responder en Castellano, escribir es mas facil de hablar ;-)



Els: I am an interested, open person always happy to meet new people, learn new skills and live new adventures. Preferably all together at the same time. I like to travel, camping outdoors enjoying sun, nature, mountains either on foot, bicycle or motorbike. But I can also enjoy a vibrant city, immerse myself in its history, culture and good food.
We have a lot of experience creating our own spaces and communities working in collectives, building, organising, bringing people together and trying to make the world a bit a better place.

I studied tropical forestry and nature management when I was young and dreamt or working for some years in African countries. Unfortunately this didn't happen but we did see a lot of the world. The dream of living in a different country for longer stayed.
Last years I worked as a psychiatric nurse in a neighbourhood with lots of people from different cultural backgrounds in Amsterdam. I liked it very much as it is very special to be so close in peoples life, try to connect and learn from each other. But after 10 years it's time for something new.

I, Merijn am an hands on person that loves to work hard. It's the daily output of created stuff that makes me happy. That can be the construction during a day of building, a good excel sheet, the found solution to a problem or a story that has been written. I love to be active, improving my skills, cycling, hiking & joke around with people.

We are looking for a new home to find in Spain as we have a longing for more sun, space, be in nature and slow down. We would love to be able to live more off the land and feel more connected to nature.
Trying to find alternatives for problems that occur today. We would like to learn more and experience projects in permaculture, reforestation and watermanagement.
Using technologies and trying to find a way to integrate urban life into rural communities. Finding best of both worlds :-)
To find this place we like to experience all of its regions, improve our Spanish, meet with people, learning and share with others and discover new possibilities.
We hope to find more time to make music and get better at it.

Aprendiamos Castellano por un mes en Granada en Febrero. Nos gustaría practicar más castellano en la vida real, porque es más difícil de lo que pensábamos. Principalmente porque estábamos con gente que también habla inglés o holandés. Así que lo más importante ahora es trabajar en un lugar con gente donde tenemos que hablar español.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We have had a busy life. Doing lots of projects. (re)building houses, a club, a campervan, and many motorbikes. Working with stones, paint, plaster, wood, electricity and cement. Working behind bars, in offices, shops and gardens... But most of all working with people. We have a lot of experience working in collectives, building campaigns for social change.

We have seen that with a good group spirit you can do the impossible. We love working with others, finding solutions, fixing problems, creating and having a good time.

We can organise, motivate and bring people together creating nice energy with good food, good talks and fun.

In our professional live we've integrated these skills. Els lately as a nurse in psychiatry. Supporting people with various problems, visiting them in their homes in Amsterdam. Merijn as head of finance, IT and backoffice at a non profit organisation that fights for and creates affordable working spaces for artists in Amsterdam.
