  Description

  Our beautiful 1 acre property is located 30 minutes south of Hobart in the D'entrecasteaux Channel. We have room for up to 2 Workaway guests to stay sharing a queen sized bed inside our very comfortable house. There is a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom that we will share with you, plus plenty of indoor and outdoor hanging out spaces. Having your own vehicle makes things easier, but there is public transport nearby.
  
  Our property attracts an abundance of native wildlife including wallabies, bandicoots, potoroos and a diverse range of birds. The property is moments from a beautiful beach perfect for exploring and swimming plus a many walking/cycling tracks. The Channel is renowned for its beauty and food and beverage production.
  
  We are looking for non-smoking helpers to assist us around our property with jobs including weeding, landscaping and getting some general home maintenance jobs done such as painting.
  We really enjoy meeting people, cooking, crafting, gardening, bushwalking, hitting the beach, camping and sharing meals with friends. We have 3 children aged 10, 16 and 19 and a dog.
  
  We expect 4 hours of work per day of stay and in return we will provide you with a very beautiful place to stay and a vegetarian dinner. You will need to provide and prepare all your other meals. We look forward to sharing time with you.

  When possible, we will welcome you to be involved in our family activities such as visiting friends, day trips to nice places etc.
  We have kayaks we can loan you for exploring the nearby coastline.
  We can offer great tips for places to visit and/or camping/outdoor adventures in Tasmania as well as many other places in Australia.

  Aide

We expect 4 hours of help per day of stay and in return we will provide you with a very beautiful place to stay and a vegetarian dinner. You will need to provide and prepare your other meals.   Our place is in a truely superb location. Nearby are many quaint rural communities perfect for exploring. It’s best if you have your own car, however public transport is available nearby.
  Please note, we are a non-smoking household with 3 children.
