We are a couple living in Gatineau…just across the river from Ottawa. We have a disabled dog that uses a wheelchair. We are 10 minute drive from downtown Ottawa. Our place is located next to the river, beautiful park and lots of biking and cross country skiing trails and river surfing.

This area is is close to central urban spots of Ottawa, aylmer, Gatineau while having an outdoorsy feel with access to hiking, skiing and water activities. Short bus ride takes you to downtown Ottawa where you can visit parliament as well as museums.

Aide

We are looking for someone ideally a mature couple to care for our disabled dog while we are away traveling.

The dog needs to be carried downstairs to be put into a wheelchair twice a day and taken for a walk. She also needs help going to the bathroom. We are looking for someone strong enough to carry a 35 pound dog from our second story condo as well as comfortable with expressing her bladder and helping her go to the bathroom. She is a funny senior dog who will make you smile.
