  Description

  I'm a British woman who has lived in Sweden since 2015. I have a little house in the forest in Värmland close to the Klarälven River. It is a beautiful spot here, very peaceful. I suffer from some chronic health problems which make it difficult for me to do things around the place and I would love some help for a variety of things throughout the year. From general maintenance, driving, gardening, cleaning, helping to get the shopping, snow removal, chopping wood, painting etc. All kinds really. There are things I simply cannot do myself. Although certain chores need doing there will be plenty of time for relaxing, walking in the forest and taking trips out. There is a bike you can use, but there is no public transport out here. This is a place for tranquillity and relaxation, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. I spend a lot of time working on my computer or making crafts and watching movies in the evenings. I have a simple life. I would like someone to come and just fit in and not expect too much of me and to be able to see for yourself what needs doing without me having to micromanage. I would like to invite those who have a van of their own to stay in because my house is small and I get easily overwhelmed when other people are in my space. I have 3 Shih Tzu dogs and this is their home too. They are allowed everywhere, so you must love dogs. I am happy to teach English. I am learning Swedish myself, but I am still terrible at it. It will be lovely to meet people from all different walks of life and make some new friends - welcome to my little house in the forest.
