  Description

  I am living in Canada's Yukon just outside of Whitehorse on my private beautiful hobby horse farm and would love help with the farm and the animals as well as general help. I also am sometimes interested in house sitting options. I have four horses age 3,4, 20 and 22 and two dogs age 3 and 9. The hiking in our area is phenomenal right out our back door! Workaways must be LGBTQ+ friendly as I am non-binary and queer with she/they pronouns and I also have queer friends. My farm is a LGBTQ+ safe space.
  
  The farm is not accessible by public transit so workawayers depend on me for rides to and from town. I go to town about every three days for groceries or events. People who are self motivated and introverted probably fit the farm best as it’s quiet here. The cabin for Workawayers is largely outfitted to be self sufficient.

  I immigrated from Germany to Canada in 1996 and am very involved in the indigenous culture as well here in the Yukon. I practice relational horsemanship and force free training of dogs and horses based on empathy and feel.

  I need help with cleaning up the pasture, general cleaning, light building as well as repair tasks, walking the dogs and house sitting.

  Hébergement

  I have a cozy cabin with fridge and microwave as well as own outhouse and the kitchen and bathroom as well as laundry may be used in the main house as well. I prepare my own food as I am on a strict diet but we will go shopping together and I buy your food but you will have to prepare it yourself. I don't eat sugar or flour and also don't drink alcohol and expect not to have to be around those items. I also don't tolerate drugs or smoking. You can of course eat sugar and flour in your own space. Not to be around it for me is a matter of sobriety from food addiction.
