Help with DIY tasks and have a farm stay in breathtaking Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada

  Description

  I am living in Canada's Yukon just outside of Whitehorse on a beautiful horse farm and would love help with the farm and the animals as well as general help. I also am interested in farm sitting options. I have four horses age 2,3 11 and 21 and two dogs age 2 and 8. The hiking in our area is phenomenal right out our back door! Workaways must be LGBTQ+ friendly as I am non-binary and queer with she/they pronouns and I also have queer friends. My farm is a LGBTQ+ safe space.

  I immigrated from Germany to Canada in 1996 and am very involved in the indigenous culture as well here in the Yukon. I am a horse professional and have lots of skills I can share regarding relational horsemanship and force free training of dogs and horses based on empathy and feel.

  Aide

  I need help with cleaning up the pasture, possibly helping with the horses more in an assistant kind of way, general cleaning and building as well as repair work, walking the dogs and farm sitting.

  Hébergement

  I have a cozy sleeping cabin with fridge and microwave as well as own outhouse and the kitchen and bathroom as well as laundry may be used in the main house as well. I prepare my own food as I am an o struct diet but we will go shopping together and I buy your food but you will have to prepare it yourself. I don't eat sugar or flour and also don't drink alcohol and expect not to have to be around those items. I also don't tolerate drugs or smoking. You can of course eat sugar and flour in your own space. Not to be around it for me is a matter of sobriety from food addiction.
