Description
We are a couple who have settled in the estrella mountains in Portugal. For many years we have been traveling living working chilling throughout Europe and Asia. Now we are creating our own guest house minus the house.For acomodation we will use canvas tipis and yurts.There is no cement here we are with nature.We have 2 hectares of ecological reserve land in an uninhabited valley that time forgot.we are creating a place where people can come and chill out off grid and sustainable within nature.
In the future there will be solar electricity,wood fired bath and shower,sand bag steam room,a natural pool and organic food from the land.
Reusing recycling and using local natural materials where ever possible is an aim to lower our footprint.

Hi we are looking for some lovely helpers who are into nature and will have a go at working hard and laughing lots. we are in the final stages of getting our place ready to launch this summer as an off grid eco retreat.
we still have loads to do and would love some people who are not afraid to muck in and get on with whatever comes up.we need to construct more showers, and a new loo ,so expirience in eco building would be great if not you will learn on the job.

On site facilities. We have a compost loo wood fierd bath and shower all out doors.
food is mainly vegetarian but some fish ocasionally,turns taken cooking and washing up.

We invite fun hard working self motivated have a go people.length of stay is a minimum 2 weeks long term is welcome when we get on well. Skilled and unskilled welcome, we our selvs are making it up as we go.the nearest village is a kilometer away and has basic shop wifi internet and bar.the river alva is close to the village for a swim. we go to town weekly and you are welcome to come for the ride and if its hot we may well shoot off for a swim in the afternoon.
Please bring:sense of humor,torch sleeping bag work clothes and footware,euro health card and travel insurance,books ,solar gadgets and a lust for life.
