    Description

    Dear workawayer :)
We are a family of four, (most of the time the younger generation is in Munich) and live on a pretty farm in the south of Germany. We own a lovely dog called Lotta and a cat named Sweep. Two years ago our family travelled to New Zealand for half a year, since then we tried to settle a little bit more, but nevertheless we all love travelling and getting in touch with new people and their culture. Our home is on the countryside with connections that take you to Munich in 45min. Around us we have a beautiful landscape and nature. Your help can vary depending on what you are interested in. Mostly we need help in the garden and outside the house, helping us to revamp a room, walking our dog, building things on our farm or doing house chores like painting, tidying up and cleaning after a group was there for a seminar. Sometimes it would be nice to have a person who do pet sitting if we are not at home. If someone is interested in preparing food for the guests, that would be nice as well. Languages that we understand and speak are English, German and French. If you are looking for a nice home a little bit away from the city (my mom has a big heart for everyone), cultural exchange (where we live, we have a lot of bavarian culture), doing some garden and house things and you like pets, we would love to welcome you here! At our big home it never gets boring.

My parents Martin & Adelheid have been travelling their whole live and know lots of different places and people. Of course there is a lot of bavarian culture to experience such as the Oktoberfest and other rather small events like 1st of May, Fasching, Churchcelebrations. My sister and I are young people too, so we know some places you might like. Munich is not far away from our home and from there, visiting different places is really easy. Also we would love to get to know new people with different backrounds and culture.

We are pretty flexible with your helping time. It would be best from 9 to 12.30, than break for lunch until 14.30. And in the afternoon or evening the rest. If you want to do a visit in Austria or see the Munich lakes you can work early in the morning than make your trip and work the other day only in the afternoon.
You probably have to help max. 5h per day. On the weekends you are free. (we can arrange your help time as you like it)

You will have a big room for yourself and a bathroom included. At our home you will get breakfast, warm lunch and dinner every day. Koffee and cake in the afternoon. If you wish to, you can cook on your own, but usually our mom cooks lots of different and tasty food.

Our home is rather on the countryside, nevertheless we have public transport, that can get you to the closest city which is called Ebersberg in 10min, Erding in 30min and to Munich in 45min.
Munich offers a lot to see and we can definetely recommend some places to you. My sister and I are really into concerts and partying on the weekends, so we can also show you some places. If you want to go to the town there are busses, in some cases we can drive you to the S-bahn, which is around 15 min away if we have time. Mostly at the weeekends. To get around Bavaria you can get a cheap train Ticket 32€ for 5 Persons. A dayticket from us to f ex. Ammersee will cost U 13€. With the Deutschlandticket, 58€ per month, you are allowed to use every sort of public transport (dispite ICE Train) all over Germany. Bus, Train, Sbahn Ubahn, Tram) we recommend the Deutschlandticket!
