Description
Holaaa, we are Juan and Julia, a Spanish-German-Couple. We ve bought our Finca 2021 and we have had renovated it since then. We do have professional builders coming to do the job, but we are doing our own DIY projects here as well like creating wooden stairs etc. It's fun to DoItYourself we think and it gives our home character.
We also have established a big vegetable garden we like to keep up and eat of forever ;)
There are different kind of trees on our land which needs to be looked after and harvested when needed.
Furthermore Juan has his parents farm to look after. He grew up there and has to support them with it as they are getting older. It's family tradition and passion. We have few goats, horses and their parents animals (chicken, rabbit, cats, dogs, pigeons) there.
As you can gather there is a wide range of things to do.
You are welcome to support us.
We can discuss about tasks and times individually. It depends how independent you can and like to work and how busy we are when you come. Juan works as a digger driver and Julia as a carer and chef.Types d'aide et opportunités d'apprendre

You have the chance to learn handy skills with us. Juan is the best person to ask anything about farming, building, maintaining, creating, driving,... He is a proper farmboy knowing anything practical.
Beside we both like cooking and could introduce you to different cuisines;) ...or just how to do a good Tortilla.... Sometimes we also use our goats milk to do a cheese or rice pudding 😋
We could teach you some english, german, spanish or Andalouuuuu
Mainly we talk English with eachother but we want to practise to talk more Spanish as Julia is also still studying it.Aide
There are always tasks to do in the garden, the farm and around our house.

You ll have a room for yourself!
Its the one you can see on the photo. Its renovated and it has wonderful views in the nature. The only little minus is that yet you have to use outdoor stairs to come inside the house. You ll get your own keys to enter anytime.
Julia is a vegetarian and Juan a meatlover. Thatfore we have meat rarely at home...Julia hope's it's not to important for you ;) let us know about your preferences and needs please.
You can eat what you want here and when and how much. You shall feel home.
We have one special goat, 4 hens, 2 border collies and a spanish waterdog living with us. At the moment we also have poppies around, but they ll go soon. They have their space outdoors.Autres infos...
We like to agree with you in working hours so that you can plan your days and freetime also.
We live outside of the village in walking distance. Los Romanes is lovely! There are 3 opportunities to take a tapa or drink. We have 2 small Supermarkets, a hairdresser, an ecobaker, an olive factory, a self-service petrolstation and a swimmingpool in summer.
Its located on a mountain with a stunning view on the highest mountains of Malaga and Lake Vinuela.
BUT there is no bus going. So to go to the sea or bigger towns you depend on a car.
We ll try to help and arrange us with you as possible without being a 24 hours taxi ;)Informations complémentaires

Jonathan was with us in the toughest two weeks we had on our construction side here. When comfort wasn't provided and anything was dirty and wet cause of surprising rain (while having no roof partly...) he stayed calm and still had a warm smile for me. Jonathan has one of the nicest laughs I ever heard :) I'm deeply greatful… read more
