Description
I live with my family along the lake Victoria region a stone throw from the lake.We have a garden where we grow various crops e.g local vegetables ,mangoes, oranges, guavas, bananas, pawpaw ,lemons ,maize, kales, green grams ,groundnuts and many more .In the compound we also rear cows which we milk ,there are also goats , chicken that we rear for eggs and donkey which mostly help in pulling the cart.In the morning we would go to the lake to fetch water with the donkey cart.Yonder from home is a local market where you can easily find every type of lake Victoria fish being sold and the local vegetable so if you want to try fresh water lake fish you are of great advantage. We live in the valley surrounded with several hills where we can go for hiking and also if you need camping .We have a big family of which you will enjoy staying with

They were such amazing guests who obeyed the house rules and are always willing to help.
It was nice to host them, we could go fetch water with the donkeys, hike together, visit lake Victoria Islands together, cooking and could also help in house chores.

The people are very friendly and make you feel at home. There is more than enough food provided. In terms of work, there isn’t that much to do, so you usually finish quickly and after are free to do whatever you want. If you’re staying for a longer period, I recommend you to bring some books … read more
