  Description

  Hello! We are very excited to welcome a helper into our home for some summertime childcare. We live in a lovely little town called Wolfville, Nova Scotia, Canada. We live walking distance to restaurants, shops, and nature and a one hour drive to the capital city of Halifax. Our children are Oggie (11), Greta (8), and Nell (4).
  
  I am an osteopath and own a health clinic. Brian is a full time student, studying to become a school teacher.
  
  We are a family who cares about the planet and environment, yummy healthy food, getting outside and staying active. While you're staying with us, we would love to show you around our beautiful province. Nova Scotia is a peninsula on the Atlantic Ocean with stunning beaches, lakes and nature trails.

  Nova Scotia is a peninsula and we live driving distance to many beautiful beaches, both rocky and sandy. The Bay of Fundy, where we live, has some of the highest tides in the world! There is a university in our town. We also live one hour to Halifax which is the capital city of Nova Scotia.
  In our family we love music, the arts, staying active through walking, biking, and yoga, and we love to cook and share yummy, healthy food! If you have an interest in cooking, we would love for you to help out in this way as well.
  We have a garden that we are continuing to expand each year we are in this house.

  Aide

  We are looking for help for the month of July when the kids will be on break. Our kids are 11, 8 and 4. A driver's license is a must for this work-away. Duties will include child care at home, taking the kids to and from their camps and activities, making light meals for the kids and taking the kids to the beach or playground, 4 days a week, morning and mid-day hours. Gardening and light lawn care are bonuses but not essential.
  Tidying up around the house like some dishes and supporting the kids to keep their things tidy is helpful, too.
  A non-smoker is a must. And I am quite sensitive to scents so I will ask that you refrain from scented products (perfumes, etc). Thank you!

  We live in a three bedroom bungalow with another bedroom and bathroom in the basement. The helper will have this bedroom and bathroom in the basement. There are windows for natural light.
