  Description

  We are a family of three: myself Mikey, my wife Joey, and our daughter Leela. We recently built our dream home overlooking the beautiful Selong Belanak beach, in Lombok.
  
  We'd love to share it with someone who can help us build & maintain our permaculture-inspired garden. We want to improve our productive garden, build a small fruit forest, and create a beautiful outdoor space. We're well underway and have some great results already, next we're looking for those who can help with:
  
  - Building a tool shed, e.g someone great with woodwork skills
  - Building a pergola to shade our car area, e.g woodwork again
  - Building an outdoor shower, e.g multiskilled
  - Building an outdoor table, e.g woodwork, tiles, resin
  - Anyone interested in gardening in general, e.g composting, maintaining plants, growing herbs & veggies
  
  This is an opportunity for someone with the right skills & passion, to live in a comfortable home, make new friends, and find out what its like to live in Lombok. Here, you can surf, hike, party, snorkel, dive - pretty much do whatever you like in a tropical climate. There's monkeys, an abundance of nature, and generally a peaceful lifestyle.
  
  Because we have a daughter it is important that anyone who joins us, a) stays for a while she can be comfortable with you, and b) that we get along and live like a family. While these may seem obvious, it makes it harder for us to accept guests for short timeframes - this is what matters to us, fostering a good friendship and enjoying our time.

  We have travelled to over 50 countries, and lived in many. We can share stories and information about traveling, living here in Lombok, Indonesia, or Europe.
  
  Furthermore, we can connect you with locals as a means to experience real village & local life, food, and more.

  Aide

  We're looking for those with hands-on, outdoor experience: permaculture, gardening, landscaping, wood & stone work, and similar.
  
  If you've ever built anything with your hands, helpen with manual tasks, construction or similar - that's ideal!
  
  You'll work directly with us in the garden, building things, being creative, planting, and nurturing. Imagine it more like a couple of friends creating something together in nature - its not work, its just fun!
  
  Maximum 5 hours a day, 5 days a week.

  Hébergement

  We offer a beautiful guest room in our home with a double bed, drawers, mirror, air-con, sliding doors, and balcony - with beautiful beach & mountain views.
  
  In terms of food, you'll be a part of our family - so we can eat together, or you can choose food for yourself - we're easy. We'd love for you to cook sometimes as well, showing us your culture and skills.
  
  Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will all be available. Some provided for you, some for you to make for yourself.

  - Spend time with us & our daughter
  - Go to the beach, swim, snorkel, surf, and more
  - Our beach, Selong Belanak, is the best beach to learn how to surf, and either side of it are Mawi and Serangan, two of the best for intermediates & pros
  - Go on trips around the island and find waterfalls, go diving, find hiking trails
  - Climb mount Rinjani, we have the contacts you need
  
  We can help you with it all, we've lived here for years and can advise. Alternatively, just enjoy being around town or at our house.
  
  We'd be happy to host small families, but only if you can fit in the space we have - lets discuss it.
