Description
We are an adventure/ backpackers hostel In San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina. There are a total of 7 rooms, with beds, kitchen, pool and place for barbeques. We are looking for people that would like to exchange help for accommodation, sharing some meals, etc.. with maintenance, reception and general hostel chores.. Bariloche is a great place with access to the mountains, snowboarding, etc.., we could discuss what a fair exchange that leaves plenty of free time to enjoy and experience the area.
**Please don't contact us more than a few days in advance. I have had far too many workawayer not show up, and give priority to those who are already in, or coming to bariloche anyways, as volunteering should be an enjoyable experience and moving on should be an easy option if it doesnt work out.That's why I like to meet and try it on with myself and the crew for 2 day period before confirming. Most helpers stay for a 2- 3 week min..

Me and my girlfriend stayed in the hostel for nearly one month. Everything was chill. The owner is really cool with everything. The tasks wasn't too demanding, and we could always arrange things if we needed to leave earlier or change our shifts. We were never required to do tasks beyond the agreed hours. Really good workaway experience.

Thanks so much for hosting us Ruben. We absolutely loved Bariloche and stayed at the hostel for just over 3 weeks. It's super cozy, more like a home than most hostels... and the pancakes for breakfast are so yummy. The work is fair and straightforward. It definitely would help to speak Spanish though (so you can interact with the guests).

Tuve la suerte de pasar 3 semanas en el hostel y fueron increibles! Pude conocer a muchísima gente, habia muy buen rollo entre voluntarios.
Ademas, en Bariloche hay muchisimas cosas para hacer.
Al ser un hostel pequeño, no hay mucha carga de trabajo, es un sitio super tranquilo y relajado.

Great place to stay with lots of nice activities. From rockclimbing to kitesurfing, bbqs and nights out. The hostel is relaxed and is mostly filled with backpackers, I can definitely recommend staying here.

I worked here for a month and left and came back after my passport and backpack were stolen. Ruben always welcomed me! He is a big hearted man. Britt Was a big help at the hostel. She Was very easy to get along with, and handled herself very well even without direction or the attention I try to give volunteers as I was very distracted by personal issues during her stay. I Highly recommend her for whatever volunteer position!!

I stayed two weeks at this very nice and cosy hostel located very close to the centre and enjoyed my stay here. You need to work max 5 hours a day and the work isn t too hard. Absolutely loved working in this hostel, it felt like home away from home and Ruben is a great, funny guy who has so many jokes up his sleeves. Ruben has a great hostel in a great location of Bariloche. He will work with you on scheduling and makes sure you have time to experience Bariloche. We were there for the ski season and even though there was very little snow we had a great time in the hostel. Rueben has a fantastic place, with great people. We felt right at home for our entire stay. The work is simple and gave us plenty of time to be tourists. We wish we could have stayed longer and definitely will be back!

I worked here for 2 weeks in April and really enjoyed my time here. Ruben is a great host, the hostel is a lot of fun, the work is pretty easy, and I had plenty of free time to enjoy all that Bariloche has to offer. Highly recommended!

I spent a bit more then a week in this hostel and I had a great Time!
The job isn't hard o complicated, you have Time to see around, You meet a lot of people and Ruben is very nice !

Thanks to Ruben for the great time!
I spent almost 3 weeks in his hostel and really enjoyed the time.
The work is easy and you get 2 days of, where you can explore Bariloche and the amazing nature.
The owner (Ruben) is a hilarious and nice guy! I would have stayed longer, if I could.
Best workaway-host on my trip so far!

Thanks to Ruben I had a beautyful three weeks in Bariloche. The hostel is located in the very center of the city, easy to acces any of the amazing spots like Cerro Otto or Colonia Suiza. Ruben is absolutely warm hearted, goodwilling so it was easy to get along and work with him. Thanks for all!

This is a great place, me and Emily stayed for 2 weeks helping in the hostel and it was awesome.
The work is fine and you have each afternoon to go and explore Bariloche.
The hostel feels like home and the manager Ruben will make sure you have a great stay here.

We had such a great time here! Ruben was a very generous, funny and kind host. He allowed us volunteers a lot of free rein to decide which shifts we wanted (which were only 4-5 hours long and easy). Ben and I had a great time with Ruben. The hostel is amazing, the work isn´t too difficult and Ruben is hilarious and a really great host. We would have loved to have stayed longer and hope to go back.
