  Description

  We are a family of 6, but now we are just 3 at home. I'm a pharmacist (57), now working as a high school teacher and producing agroecological vegetables and seeds in a small scale. My wife is a chemist and a yoga teacher, now also working as a high school teacher. We also run a B&B at home. Villa La Angostura is a small city inside Nahuel Huapi National Park. We are surrounded by lakes, forest and mountains.
  We like sharing experiences with people from other countries. I spend 1 year in France when I was 18, and after travelled a lot working for multinational companies. Our older daughter (not living at home now) spend 1 school year in Russia, the oldest boys pend 1 school year in Sweden, the third one went to Norway, and the youngest girl will go to Finland next year.
  As a family we enjoy going to the beach with friends, walking in the mountains, meeting with friends for good meal and long conversations.

  Apart from improving your Spanish, you can learn about gardening and producing agroecological seeds and vetegables. Also cooking some tipical Argentinian dishes. And I am a beer judge and homebrewer, so you can learn how to make and taste beer, as a plus.

  Aide

  We need help to do almost everything you can do in a house with a garden and a vegetable plot: paint, mow, gardening, prune, clean the hen house, seed, transplant, dig... also depending on the season, pick strawberries , raspberries, potatos, etc, and helping with some minor home maintenance.

  Hébergement

  We offer a private bedroom inside the house. Bathroom is shared with other two bedrooms that are part of the B&B (max 2 person per bedroom).

  We are at 2 km from downtown and the bus station. 20 min walk to the lake. There are 3 lakes very close (between 3 and 7 km) and a lot of wonderful places for trekking very close. Local public transportation is limited.
  We have received people from many countries, but mainly tourists.
  We are very flexible regarding working times.

  Very independent and friendly cat. Spend a lot of time outdoors, but also likes staying inside the house.

  Laika

  Very friendly medium size. We don´t really know her DOB as she was an adult when we adopted her 7 years ago.
