Hello,
My home is situated on Galiano Island near Montague Provincial Park. I am fixing up an old house and landscaping / gardening the property that was passed down by my family.
I'm looking for hardworking, independent, peaceful easy going people who have the willingness and capacity to work both outdoors and indoors.

Gulf Island slow paced life is great for people who'd like to spend time in nature, explore the forest and ocean, get creative, read, write.
There are some community events and markets that can me fun and quaint. It's an island paradise for you if that's what you're looking for.

Very close to swimming beaches and parks, spectacular hiking etc. Island has restaurants, a pub and more. Kayak, moped and paddle board rentals close by spring/summer/fall, motorized bicycle rentals also available on island.

Jake and Claire are good people. I’m grateful for the work that they did- it was a big project and even though it didn’t get finished, significant progress was made which I am grateful for. I wish them the best in their future travels!

We had a lovely time in Tamara's airstream! Her place is lovely and the galiano community are so welcoming and kind. We spent three weeks here and enjoyed the land and projects we worked on. Had a awesome stay with Tamara and Brant. They were super welcoming and easy going. We had really good chats together. Unfortunately I could only stay for a week but during this time they introduced me in the island community. I had a super classic camper Trailer for my own and work was flexible and interesting.

We really enjoyed hosting Jakob and are grateful for all he did in the weeks that he was here. He is wise beyond his years and very easy to be around as well as a great conversationalist. He was very flexible and understanding as well as able to work well without supervision. We miss him already!
