Help preparing a converted truck and collect knowledge and memories in Bleiburg, Austria

  Description

  An old-timer truck and two small mountain huts and a workshop in the south of Carinthia are awaiting workawayers. We are situated at the foot (approx 700m above sea level) the Petzen mountain, with 2 small houses, and a wood and metal workshop. One of the houses is used by us and the second Is exclusively available to workawayers.
  
  A converted oldtimer truck, collects knowledge and memories, annotates them and links them to digital knowledge spaces. Both real objects (pictures, films, books, objects) and memories (audio and video interviews) can be digitized and viewed in the truck. The truck is equipped with the necessary devices and and a place to make interviews.
  
  We are looking for help to make some small renovation, gardening and wood work, and mainly to help us to awake the truck from its "Corona Winter Sleep" The tasks will be in a quite wide range, starting with simple repair work at the truck, updates of the webpage, collection memories in the surroundings up to the production of some great new videos.

  We will introduce workawayers to the culture of south Carinthia, which is a melting point of german and slovenian speaking community, visit some of local fairs and cultural festivals. Visiting several places from celtic culture will give a background to the magic of this place e,g, the Hemmaberg.

  We are looking for help to make some small renovation, gardening and wood work, and as main tasks to help us to awake the truck from its "Corona Winter Sleep" The tasks will be in a quite wide range, starting with simple repair work at the old-timer truck, updates of the webpage, collection memories in the surroundings up to the production of some great new videos.

  Hébergement

  An own small house / mountain hut with a living room/kitchen, bedroom with 4 beds in the first floor and a nice veranda as a working place. We will cook together, taking vegetables from the garden of my relatives and will put a focus on biological and sustainable food. On Sundays / holidays we usually go to a nice restaurant, workawyers will be invited to have also free food at this occasions.
