Welcome to our little piece of paradise on Jeju Island, Korea! My wife, cat, and I live in a charming house surrounded by a beautiful garden and a small farm that we love tending to.
Our home is located in a peaceful and picturesque area, surrounded by lush greenery and stunning landscapes that are perfect for exploring. We are passionate about sustainable living and have created a little oasis that incorporates permaculture principles and organic farming practices.
As a Workaway volunteer, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in our way of life and learn new skills while enjoying the serene surroundings. We are looking for someone who is eager to help us with our farm and garden, which includes growing vegetables, fruits(tangerine), and herbs, caring for our chickens, and maintaining the overall property.
In exchange for a few hours of help per day, we offer a 4 beds dorm room in our home and the chance to experience authentic Korean culture and cuisine.
When you're not helping, you can explore the many attractions on Jeju Island, such as the beaches, hiking trails, museums, and markets. We can also provide recommendations for the best places to visit and things to do in the area.

Travellers who stay with us on our little farm and garden on Jeju Island will have the opportunity to benefit from a cultural exchange in several ways. Here are some of the things that you can learn from us during your stay:
Korean Culture: You will have the chance to immerse yourself in authentic Korean culture by living with a Korean family and experiencing daily life on Jeju Island. You'll have the opportunity to learn about Korean customs, traditions, and language.
Sustainable Living: Our farm and garden are based on permaculture principles and organic farming practices. As a Workaway volunteer, you will learn about sustainable living practices and how to cultivate a garden using organic and natural methods.
Korean Cuisine: We love cooking with fresh ingredients from our farm and garden, and we are happy to share our recipes with you. You will have the opportunity to learn about traditional Korean dishes and ingredients and even try your hand at cooking some Korean meals.
Language Exchange: We are looking for someone who can help us improve our English language skills. As a native or fluent English speaker, you'll have the opportunity to practice your teaching skills and help us improve our language proficiency. In exchange, we can teach you some Korean language and help you improve your language skills.
Local Attractions: Jeju Island is a popular tourist destination with many attractions to explore, including beaches, hiking trails, museums, and markets. We can provide recommendations for the best places to visit and things to do in the area, and even show you around to some of our favorite spots.
Overall, travellers who stay with us on our little farm and garden can expect to learn about Korean culture, sustainable living practices, and traditional Korean cuisine. You'll have the chance to connect with a local family and community, make new friends, and have a unique and rewarding cultural exchange experience.

Aide
As a Workaway volunteer on our farm and garden, we would welcome your help for around 3 hours a day, 5 days a week, with 2 days off, minimum stay 4 weeks .Here are some of the tasks that we would need your help with:
"Workawayers won't be helping with any tasks relating to the business"
"No produce is sold on the farm"
Gardening and Farming: We have a small organic tangerine farm and garden that requires daily maintenance, including planting, watering, weeding, harvesting, and composting. You'll be doing tasks alongside us to help maintain and improve the farm and garden.
Chicken care: We have a small flock of chickens that we raise for eggs and as pets. We would need your help with feeding, cleaning, and taking care of them.
General Maintenance: We would also appreciate some help with general maintenance tasks such as cleaning, repairing, and organizing our tools and equipment.
Language Teaching: We are looking for someone who can help us improve our English language skills. As a native or fluent English speaker, you'll have the opportunity to practice your teaching skills and help us improve our language proficiency.
No prior experience is necessary, but a willingness to learn, do tasks well, and contribute to our community is essential. We are looking for volunteers who are enthusiastic about organic farming, sustainable living, and cultural exchange.
In return for your help, we offer a 4beds dorm room in our home and fresh ingredients from our farm and garden
that you can cook any time (3 meals a day) there are alway food in the house that you guys can cook
We also go shopping every week then i provide what you need for your own food to cook
You'll also have the opportunity to immerse yourself in Korean culture and explore the stunning surroundings of Jeju Island.

We offer a 4beds dorm room in our home which has a kitchen, and two toilets on 2nd floor of the house

Our palce is located in Aewol west side of Jeju
Which has a lot of touristic area and beautiful beaches 5~10mins by car
Actually there are a lot of activities that you can do around here
Hiking, swimming, and riding a bicycle.....
we can give you ride to near the beach and turistic area when you are on off-day
and there are public bus stop near my house that you can go to everywhere in Jeju
