Description
Hey! We are a Eco hostel in Pichilemu. The surf capital of Chile that is just a few hours south of Santiago.
Our hostel is in an incredible house built in 1910. Because it’s an older house it requires some maintenance—
This is the result of a lot of team work, shared ideas, and good energy. The hostel itself is an old and huge beautiful house with 6 available rooms and 2 courtyards for hanging out and relaxing. A lot of common spaces. Full equipped kitchen. Pet friendly. Lots of games. We love plants and recycle. We also have a profesional big studio for exercice, yoga, etc.
We need volunteers to do the chores of the hostel. Doing beds, cleanning, etc. And if it´s low season we have rooms to paint and a lot of other things to do! We have room for 3 volunteers at the same time and to be honest it´s a super relaxed kind of work.
As you can see, we care about the environment and we believe in energy... If you identify with this way of living, you are welcome to volunteer with us! We have a great energy happening in the hostel, our guests, volunteers, workers and friends always hanging around the house confirms that.

Here you can practice Spanish or English, share interests, learn new things, use our fully stocked kitchen. We have agreements with local surf schools and can help you get a good deal for surf classes or rentals. If you like learning and being in a good vibes environment, this is the place for you!

AS OF 1 April 2023 we’re looking for help with remodeling, painting walls, gardening, reception, and general cleaning (sweeping, mopping, laundry, etc.). Bonus if you have work experience with social media/marketing or languages!
Our staff speaks Spanish, English and German.

Pichilemu is known worldwide for surfing! We’re only a short colectivo ride away to some famous surf spots like Punta de Lobos or Cahuil, a small town famous for its sea salt. This region of Chile is perfect for anyone who loves living on the beach, if you want to know more then you’ll have to come and see it for yourself.

Tuve una muy buena experiencia como voluntario. Estuve trabajando dos semanas pero las tareas son muy faciles y tenés mucho tiempo libre para descansar y disfrutar del lugar. Aproveche de ese tiempo para aprender a surfear!

Clem was an amazing help to our hostel! She is a super kind, funny and caring person. Has a lot of initiative and always wanted to do a little more. She painted a mural and created a reading corner in the hostel that we are going to enjoy and love for years to come.

The hostel is in the heart of Pichilemu, and now in my heart too. Tobi is. an incredible kind, down to earth and relaxed host who is very friendly and makes you feel at ease and at home. Olivia y Santiago, son una pareja llena de energía. Siempre disponibles a cualquier tipo de necesidad. Nos ayudaron a 360 grados. Cocinando y preparando el desayuno, limpiando el hostal, haciendo trabajo en la reception, pintando etc... Hemos apreciado mucho sus trabajo.

Had a great week in pichilemu, working on building a wall using mud, painting and other general maintenance. Had an incredible time here! Planned a stay for 2/3 weeks and ended up staying for a little over 5!
It's a great hostel with really amazing people.
Andrea is super caring and an all round lovely woman, while Tomas really does a good job in creating a nice atmosphere and managing the place.
I could easily have stayed for much longer than I did!

I was one month in the hostal of Andrea. The job is very simple you work like 5hours a days with a 30min break with a day off. So you have a lot of time to enjoy your staying with the other volonteer or with the guests.

I stayed 2 weeks and what a great choice to choose this place to volunteer after 2 months in Santiago. This hostal is so peacefull, with good vibes and the kindness of the staff makes you feel at home. I will miss the food of Andrea for sure, she's an amazing cook! I volunteered here for a month and ended up coming back twice after that! So many people during that time extended their stay because of the always welcoming vibes and good energy! It was easy to feel like you were apart of a family there! Would highly recommend volunteering here and getting to try Andrea’s delicious food as well :)
