Description
Our Hostel is a Community Hostel for Backpackers in Auroville, Pondicherry.
Our (Nikhil) place focus is on the people who just wanna be themselves and experience the special energy that surrounds Auroville. Here you can learn about permerculture or diversity and unity. There are movies, pizza nights and jam sessions. You will have evenings with people you just met, but have known for years.
It is the place for people who just put good energy out or the ones who are not sure they belong anywhere, here you can experience we are all one!

As well as free Stay, Food and some maintenance allowance, like washing, you will become member of our time traveller family.
The thing about Auroville is, that you will always have the right conversation, with the right person, at the right moment in time. You'll see :)

Painting, there are walls and paint so just express your self
As the hostel is still developing we are in need of people who can actually built stuff. So if you have experience in building and still enjoy it, help us :)
For us it is important that while you volunteer you feel at home and are able to do what you enjoy. We trust, that you know what you can being to our place better than us.
And if you have ideas or need time to volunteer on a farm in the morning just talk to us.

Hébergement
In Eco Friendly Huts, 4 bed dormitory, all room come with a fan and we try to put you in with long termers.
Community bathroom and kitchen. We try to cook together, but you are always welcome to use the kitchen.
There is also space to do workout and yoga as well as lots of hammocks around to read a book or just chill.
You might have to cook for yourself :)

It is handy to have a scooter or bike (can be as cheap as 70per/day), but also hitchhiking is very easy in and around Auroville. In Auroville, there is always something going on cinema, art therapy, farming,etc..
