  Description

  Welcome to our eco-farm! We are located on the Spanish island of Gran Canaria in the province of Las Palmas. We cultivate vegetables and fruits, organically grown and free from pesticides, chemical fertilizers and GMOs. We deeply believe in the idea that we can protect the environment with the practice of organic and regenerative agriculture.
  
  Values and aims: promote ecology, create connections between living beings, express creativity in harmony with nature, and build a self-sustainable community that spreads our values: our ethical decision is to take responsibility for our own existence and that of our next generation.

  As a part of our team you will be able to learn about:
  - growing ecological veggies,
  - sustainability and off-grid living,
  - construction,
  - veganism,
  - business,
  - practice languages (Spanish, English, Polish),
  - personal development.
  
  Organic methods: - Syntropic agriculture & permaculture,
  - Green manures and compost,
  - Organic fertilizers: earthworm leachate, Effective Microorganism,
  - Plant extracts and other organic plague control,
  - Bio-construction,
  - Local plants as a Reservoir to increase the Biodiversity,
  - Solar energy systems,
  - Water purification system.
  
  Current projects: - In the garden: sowing vegetables, harvest, maintain fertility in the soil
  taking care of animals and creating an animal sanctuary,
  - bio-constructions,
  - development of food and vegetables delivery,
  - organization of events with workshops and activities,
  - teaching and promoting self-production of food.

  Aide

  Daily routine includes gardening, cooking, cleaning, helping with animals, construction and tasks related to organization of workshops and events. You will have an opportunity to know how to plant and care of plans, vegetables and fruits.
  
  We are looking for active, positive and world-curious people to help, who are not afraid of challenges and physical tasks. Helping on a farm involves many demanding tasks, such as: preparing agricultural land for sowing. taking care of animals, harvesting crops and helping with construction. Therefore, please be aware of this. ;)
  
  We accept volunteers for at least a month, with the possibility of extension if you wish to do so.
  
  Workawayers won't be helping with produce sold or any other business related tasks.

  Hébergement

  Accommodation - simple dorm rooms with single beds. The accommodation also includes a shared bathroom, kitchen and fridge. We provide the internet connection. We have towels and sheets for you to use.
  Food - meals prepared mostly from our own veggies and products. We take care of a balanced diet, which is based mainly on vegetables and fruit cultivated on the farm. Volunteers will have mainly vegan options at their disposal.

  During your free time you can discover Gran Canaria island, which offers mountains and ocean in proximity. You will love it!
  
  On the other hand, there is a gym on site, yoga classes and workshops focused on personal development, meditation, environment protections and agriculture sector.
