  Hello
  …we are a family of 5 humans, 50+ animals and 500+ plants…we live on a farm named pr’ Nebavc, which is situated in the middle of Slovenia (35km east of Ljubljana; 10km southwest of Litija)... During the school year we also stay in Ljubljana (if possible we all stay there from Monday to Friday in case we have somebody to feed our animals )...our farm is standing on the end of the ridge above two little valleys and has very nice view of the surrounding countryside…it lies on a hilly landscape…the size of the land that we take care of is around 8ha (6 of which is forest)...there are gardens, food forest and orchards, pastures and meadows…our family lives in an old house that is renovated and there are also some other structures on the land - “new” house that is unfinished, barn with stable, double hayrack and yurt…
  …in the past the farm was a living space for a little community of 5 young people that were exploring and practicing sustainable and natural way of living…hosting different kind of groups and events from children, youth to adults…we organised permaculture workshops and design courses, youth exchanges and initiatives, children holidays, team-buildings and more…
  …two of the five people from community stayed on the farm…jan and janja got married and we exchanged community life for family life, six years ago when our daughter luna was born…after two years came luka, and after two more years ruj…so now again we are a group of five…
  ..jan loves to work with his hands, read and talk…his favourite thing to do is to make piles and heaps from different materials…janja loves to cook, go for a walk and listen to music in the morning…her favourite thing to do is to be a mother…luna loves to draw, dance and tell others what to do…her favourite thing to do is to take care of others…luka loves to wake up early, work in his garage and moan…his favourite thing to do is telling us that he is hungry…ruj loves to be with chickens, climb on the table and throw things…his favourite thing to do is bringing firewood and taking away dishes…
  …our extended family includes dog named bas who is tireless stick and ball runner…cats primož and liza who are all around the place, goats rjavka and belka who are very peacefull and some chickens who are constantly digging and scratching the ground…

  At our place we host some events or meetings where people from local area come and work with us or do some camping (last more families). Also there are people coming from other countries like EVS volunteers because we are connected to local NGOs so there are opportunities to meet people especially during warmer period of the year.

  Aide

  …we live a simple and easygoing life taking care of each other, animals and plants…most of our time we spend together eating, playing, cooking, creating, gardening, dancing and singing, cutting grass or trees, having fun, reading, shouting, crying or being silent…
  …if you decide to spend time with us we can offer you a place to sleep in the yurt, on the barn (dry hay bed) or on the open attic of the house….our food is organic, either from our garden, our neighbours, or from organic farmers and stores…mostly we eat vegetarian, sometimes vegan, sometimes meat…
  …we need help mostly with outside tasks…
  ...also we need farmstay help for a during school year...
  
  …on the garden (composting, weeding, planting, watering)...
  …with animals (feeding and bringing water, moving them)...
  …on meadows (cutting grass, raking grass and hay)...
  …with fruit trees and bushes (cutting branches, making woodchips, cover with mulch)...

  Hébergement

  Soon it will be available one room for family or workawayers (it needs a bit of renovation). From March on also a yurt, barn, attic, there is place also for camping.
