  I am a teacher, you will live with me, my cat, and my beautiful goldfish in my beautiful home. I did workaway myself in Turkey many years ago and was an international teacher for many years.

  I live in a fabulous neighborhood where you can walk to many attractions or bus to more. I can help you practice English and share my many years of traveling experience.

  Aide

  I will be recovering from surgery and unable to do household chores or cook fresh meals for two weeks max. I need someone to play with my cat and clean up after him (easy) and keep the house clean. Some shopping and cooking (there is a store 5 minutes walk). No nursing is involved, I just can't bend or reach for two weeks so I need an extra pair of hands. I hope you can spend most of your days and nights exploring my fair city, the work should be not more than and hour or two per day, and days off to explore the coast if you like. It's a short stay but enough time to get a feel for Portland. Likely June.

  Hébergement

  Private, furnished, and tidy room with TV (optional), bed, table and chairs. It is cozy and beautiful. Shared areas are the bathroom, kitchen, dining, livingroom and a great porch for people watching and enjoying the weather.

  My home is walking distance to Oaks Bottom Nature Reserve, Springwater Trail, many authentic pubs, a library, antique shops, restaurants (including the best burgers you will ever eat at PDX Sliders), and more. Three minutes walk from two buslines that will get you anywhere you need to go. 20 minutes walk to the Max Train Yellow line.
