  Description

  We are a semi-retired medical couple in Sydney. Our holiday house is close to Sydney on beautiful Pittwater and we would like to host you in this beautiful location as well as in Sydney in transit. Little Lovett Bay It is water-access only, waterfront and backing on to the Ku-ring-gai national park. It is very peaceful and surrounded by nature, with wallabies, goannas and many different birds. There is access to bushwalking, kayaking, boating, and swimming in Pittwater. It can be accessed by ferry, boat or water taxi from Church Point. We can pick you up.
  We need help with house, jetty and boatshed maintenance, cleaning, gardening, bush clearing and maintenance. The house is water-access only so this location requires taking the ferry and boating.

  We are a semi-retired couple, well travelled, open minded and keen to meet people from other cultures. English is our first language.I would love an Indonesian speaker as I study Indonesian on duolingo but clearly not essential, obviously. This gig would probably suit a couple who love bushwalking, swimming and kayaking but 2 friends could also be accomodated using the boatshed.

  Aide

  We are planning some indoor and some outdoor work. Cleaning house and boatshed including windows. Clearing gutters up a ladder but with proper harness to make it safe. Clearing some weeds and some bush along a bush track. Maybe repairing a bush track balustrade. We are expecting 4-5 hours per day for 4-5 days in exchange for free board and lodging. You are welcome to cook if you choose to. We can cater for vegetarian & pescatarian or gluten free diets as I am coeliac.

  Hébergement

  We have 2 options. A self contained boatshed on the water. It has a queen size bed as well as 2 double beds in lofts which are reached by ladders. Also a lounge room, bathroom and simple kitchen. It opens onto a little beach. We can cook paella on an open fire on the beach. It is rustic and beautiful.
  
  Or a spare room with a queen bed and bathroom upstairs in the main house. It has great views and a lovely balcony. Down stairs there are relaxing hammocks, table tennis, a pool table and a darts gaime.
  Most visitors like to bushwalk, swim, kayak and stand-up paddle board.

  With time off guests usually go bushwalking, birdwatching, swimming, kayaking, SUPPing, play table tennis, play pool, play darts.
  We have excellent internet and movie streaming.
  We are non-smoking, antivaping, alcohol in moderation type people.

  We have excellent internet connection at this house in Pittwater. Fibre to the node. We have a small office that you could work from in the main house but you can work from anywhere as the boatshed connection is also good.
