Description
Hi everyone! my name is Lorena Renaud, I’m 31 and was born and raised in Tapachula, Chiapas, Mexico.
My grandparents were coffee farmers, and today I care for the same lands they tended for generations.
Here we grow coffee, cacao, avocado, lemon, bananas, jackfruit, papaya, and a medicinal garden, while also caring for chickens, two sweet dogs, a curious cat and a hilarious parrot.
For the past 5 years I’ve opened my home as a retreat and community center where life flows simply and intentionally.
A big part of my life is caring for the land, continuous learning, and living in harmony with nature. You’ll often find me taking a course or practicing a new skill, and I love encouraging others to stay curious and try something new during their time here.
I also host transformative retreats that explore master plant dietas, silent meditation, temazcal, women’s health, and the inner wisdom of our bodies.
Around us, the jungle opens into mountains, waterfalls, and beaches for those seeking adventure and deep communion with nature. We love going on day trips at least once a week, whether it’s to explore local gastronomy, join cultural activities, or simply visit my mom in the city.Types d'aide et opportunités d'apprendre

More than a volunteer position, the sanctuary offers the opportunity to self-explore, heal, transform, and grow through community living where you can immerse yourself in diverse experiences that inspire growth and connection.
Here, life flows simply and with presence. We tend to the land, share meals together, exchange stories and inspiration, and gather for circles, workshops, or cacao ceremonies. Beyond the center, the jungle opens into mountains, waterfalls, and beaches, inviting moments of adventure and deep connection with nature.
Daily life is a blend of community and spaciousness: we move our bodies in the mornings, create and play, watch films, or honour silence. There is space for both solitude and reflection, as well as for genuine connection. This rhythm allows us to rest, to listen, and to return to the natural cycles of our bodies and the Earth.
Most who come here are women seeking healing, renewal, and a safe space to reconnect with themselves, as well as international travellers, creatives, and entrepreneurs who bring curiosity, knowledge, and a spirit of collaboration. While it primarily attracts women, we are not a feminist space in the activist sense—we deeply value balance and also welcome men whose energy feels aligned, so if you are called, please don’t be intimidated.
Together, we weave a supportive sisterhood and a cross-cultural tapestry of food, ideas, and inspiration—where every encounter becomes an opportunity for reflection, transformation, empowerment, and deeper presence.
Whether you come for a week, a month, or longer, we offer an invitation: to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and explore new ways of living. It is a safe space to arrive exactly as you are, to be nourished by authentic Mexican culture and tropical nature, and to experience the beauty of community woven with heart.
We are always open for help in the following positions:
CLEANING - General cleaning and housekeeping.
SOCIAL MEDIA/MKT GURU - Updating social media, creating content and coordinating ad campaigns.
GARDENING - Watering the plants, compost treatment, planting new trees, growing sprouts.
GENERAL HELP - Lend a hand where it is needed, pay attention to what needs doing and take initiative.Langues

Kabir (2 ans)
The curious cat and undeniable boss of the house. He sometimes steals the dogs’ food (and they let him, because… well, Kabir). He rules with quiet authority, mostly from his favorite throne—his nap spot.
Lalla (4 ans)
The irreverent sweetheart. Affection is her love language, and she’ll happily trail behind you on hikes just to be close. She’s Hafiz’s sister and endlessly cute in her own cheeky way.
