  Description

  A project helping injured people back into the ocean and in the end stages of completion 300 metres from the beach on the pacific side of Panama in Cambutal.We need a single person or a couple to help with gardening ,painting and light all around help .We are avid watermen and love to kayak ,surf ,dive and fish.
  We have been in limbo the past year due to the world situation but now returning to a normal way of life with the project .

  In return for 20 hrs of work each week, either half days or odd full day you get "glamping style" accommadation in a beautiful and natural environment near the beach on the wild pacific side of Panama.We have amazing surf,great fishing ,incredible oceanlife ,whales and turtles as well as waterfalls and jungle hikes .We have ocean kayaks,surfboards fishing rods and bicycles for use and our community is very internatioanal and down to earth living in this very safe piece of paradise.A great place for all level of surfers,beginner beach breaks to demanding fast point breaks.
  I connect with all workaways,become friends ,who then get to see a guy living life normally using a wchair and who will sweat along side you for the work needed doing and invite you to join this special community of "mostly off the grid,alternate thinking people "who are not interested in the rat race but prefer nature and forging relationships.This area is normally quite expensive for accommodation with international tourists coming through and staying at the exclusive yoga surf retreat or beach hotel.
  This experience,if you are chosen will provide free comfortable accommodation and an introduction into the tight knit community where people then find themeselves coming back for more of this lifestyle and some even moving here permanently.

  Aide

  I use a wheelchair due to damaged leg nerves and am the current 6x world champion in Para Adaptive Surfing.
  I need like minded healthy fit people to help with light work.No major experience necessary but you must be willing to be neat and tidy but able to get grubby with either painting ,cutting wood ,gardening and general light build work to help at this wheelchair friendly facility.
  
  Due to aches and pains of wheelchair life and a demanding environment, bodyworkers,therapists or Physios are v welcome here.
  I am well known and respected in the area and have brought a number of differently abled people here to experience the healing vibe.
  Some have never left .
  Enthusiasm,open mindedness and curiosity are welcomed.

  Hébergement

  Accommodation is your own private glamping style camping trailer with double bed ,private kitchen ,private bathroom toilet .You will need to provide and cook for yourselves .I do not cater or cook for people as have realised everyone has different food needs.
  (I offset this by providing free surfboards, a motorbike, free fuel and a bicycle. Plus exploration trips to secluded beaches and waterfalls. )
  Food is v cheap and easy to obtain and the people I am looking for ,need to be self sufficient.We do have an weekly organic vegetable delivering cheap fresh veggies and also do weekly town runs to buy food and materials. We get lots of fresh fish when we want to.Cheap Food and drink can also be easily bought at the market ,beach resturant or hotel that is walking distance down the road.Meals range from 3 usd a meal to 10 usd .We drink the water from the taps which is tested clean and clear from the borehole.

  We tend to work around the surf and ocean conditions ,we work hard when the surf is flat and also explore waterfalls and secluded beaches by quadbike and 4x4 once we are ahead with work I am serious about finishing and beautifying the project ,but also serious about having a good time .We have a "work hard play hard ethos."
  There is local transport running to the main town of tonosi and surrounding areas for main supplies,bank etc.
  The main vibe around our little town is yoga,surfing and group get togethers with a fantastic social environment where everyone knows everyone and you never feel alone.
  This is a place where you are free to build the biggest bonfire that you can from all the driftwood on the beach.
