  Description

  *Who am I :
  Hello, my name is Guillaume, I am 39, and I live in France in a yurt, with my wife Karine, on a family terrain.
  I am fluent in French, English and Spanish and speak a bit of Japanese.
  I worked as a workawayer in the past, in Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
  Now it is my turn to offer an opportunity to the community.
  *The Project :
  On the family terrain where we live, we aim at refurbishing an old ornamental lake, to turn it in to a natural basin.
  It has been dry for the last 6 years and needs to be rebuilt. The objective is to bring back water in nature, for wildlife and trees, but also for the general energy of the place.
  The project involves using tools, carrying weight.
  It also involves learning about natural pools, that self recycle thanks to natural filters such as flowers or plants. We will have a natural pond professional with us to help throughout the process. We will also have a professional sculptor to help building a waterfall.
  *Where we are:
  We are in the Puy de Dome area in France. We are surrounded by 83 volcanoes. Very green and hilly. Lots of hikes, lots of biking opportunities. Our family terrain is 20 acres, with horses and dogs. The area is very famous for cheese. Not so much for wine...
  *What you get :
  You will get free accommodation with your own bedroom and 3 meals per day, plus yoga class in the morning with Karine. The project is planned for 2 weeks time from 19th of October till 1st of November, but you are welcome to stay as long as you want before or after.
  Working days from 19th Ocotber till 1st of November will be from 9:30am till noon and 2:30pm till 5pm. So 5h total per day. And you will rest during weekends.
  Before and after those dates you don't need to help and can enjoy the area as you please.
  You will also get a chance to dive into French culture, and who knows, even learn French!

  Dive in French culture with people of different ages, including children. Everybody speaks English, but we can provide you with French lessons. Be prepared to eat French food and a lot of cheese if you like it.
  We would be happy to learn about your culture and your language to. We are always happy to welcome people from all around the world at home.

  Aide

  We are looking for someone handy who is not afraid of using a shovel, a wheel barrel or any tools. If you haven't done that in the past but are willing to learn it is also perfectly fine. You will be provided the necessary PPE (personal protective equipment)

  Hébergement

  Your accommodation will be a bedroom with a double bed, in a house, with your own bathroom.
  
  Workawayer will share three meals per day with us; breakfast, lunch and diner. There are always, fruits, nuts, bred and cheese available at any time along with snacks or whatever is available. You will be part of the family and can access prety much anything you like anytime, just like our nephews do. You are also welcome to cook your own food or prepare your own meals. We can buy anything you like. granted it is available in the area we live in.
