Description
We are a mid 60's couple with a happy outlook on life. We live an hour by public transport from Malaga and are looking for someone or a couple who are prepared to assist in the cleaning, painting and general maintenance of our luxury villa. We are 4kms from 2 local villages set with magnificent views over Lake Vinuela
Accommodation in a private bedroom with ensuite bathroom is provided together with breakfast lunch snack and dinner. There is use of a private pool, internet and English TV available. We are able to accommodate any time for a period between 1 and 10 weeks. We are non smokers and are looking for the same.

Málaga is a large city in the southern Spanish region of Andalucia and capital of the Malaga Province. The largest city on the Costa del Sol, Malaga has a typical Mediterranean climate and is also known as the birthplace of famous Spanish artist Pablo Picasso. The city offers beaches, hiking, architectural sites, art museums, excellent shopping and cuisine. While more laid back than Madrid or Barcelona, Malaga is still the center and transport hub for the hugely popular Costa del Sol region, which is flooded with tourists in the summer, and the city has certainly cashed in on the sun and sand, with lots of new construction as well as hotels and facilities geared to tourists. However, Malaga also offers some genuinely interesting historical and cultural attractions in its old city and its setting on the coast is still beautiful.

Doug and Wendy are excellent hosts and Villa Olivia is a beautiful home to share with them.
During our stay we assisted with gardening and DIY projects around house.
Doug is a seasoned raconteur at the Dinner table and Wendy makes a first class Roast Chicken Dinner.

Regrettably only a short stay with us but Diana and Kyle were the perfect guests. Enjoyed intelligent conversations which extended breakfast time but they both worked extremely hard and our garden proved the benefits from it. Can thoroughly recommend them to future hosts.

Kumal & Brendan joined us for their first workawayer experience . They were polite and willing to learn our ways of working with Workaway. Wendy and Doug are wonderful hosts. We were treated with generosity and almost feel like family! We were given clear and easy to follow instructions for what was expected of us and our accommodations far exceeded what we expected!
