The idea came about 4 years ago. We were sick of the city, and needed literally flee the noise and frenzy of both asphalt cement and consumerism. We sold everything that bound us to the city and decided to be part of a Commune as commoners . Acquired the right to use a plot of land , and we jump head first into this new adventure. Here we would start our lives again. This would enable our beloved Creative Action .
In the homeland we were determined to build our life project.
We did not want anything to remind us think right angles and in a circular pattern. For mud walls circular forms are much more resistant than flat walls. But I thought the circle was also very bored and started looking for alternatives. Since childhood I have been loving snails ; I learned to walk in the sand and I can not help but remember so many varieties that I was picking up the edge of the surf . I marveled at those perfect curves as that formed inside the shell . I never imagined then that same spiral, logarithmic spiral that is repeated in endless forms within nature , it would be my home someday .
La idea nació hace unos 4 años. Estabamos hartos de la ciudad, y necesitábamos literalmente huir del ruido y frenesí de tanto asfalto, cemento y consumismo. Vendimos todo lo que nos unía a la urbe y decidimos ser parte de una Comuna en calidad de comuneros. Adquirimos el derecho de uso de un lote de terreno, y nos lanzamos de cabeza en esta nueva aventura. Aquí empezaríamos nuevamente nuestra vida. Aquí volveríamos a activar nuestra querida Acción Creativa.
En ese terruño estábamos decididos a construir nuestro proyecto de vida.
No queríamos nada que nos recordara los ángulos rectos y pensamos en un esquema circular. Para paredes de barro las formas circulares son mucho más resistentes que las paredes planas. Pero pensaba que el círculo era también muy aburrido y empezamos a buscar variantes. Desde niño he sido amante de los caracoles; aprendí a caminar en la arena y no puedo dejar de recordar tantas y tantas variedades que fui recogiendo al borde de las olas. Me maravillaba con esas curvas tan perfectas que se formaban dentro del caparazón. Nunca imaginé entonces que ese mismo espiral, el espiral logarítmico que se repite en infinitas formas dentro de la naturaleza, sería algún día mi hogar.
