This is a business own by locals just 9km from Semuc Champey, one of the best landscapes in Guatemala. Lanquin is a little town surrounded by wonderful nature and full of maya culture. The idea of this hostel is to provide great atmosphere to our hosts to give them real Guatemalan experience with our guided tours. We like to learn day by day from you to be able to improve our customer's service. We love to meet new people from all over the world to be able to share knowledge with them. You are welcome to come to visit us and to enjoy this paradise.

Es un negocio solo a 9km de Semuc Champey, uno de los lugares mas bellos a visitar en Guatemala. Lanquin es un pueblo pequeño rodeado de preciosa naturaleza y lleno de cultura maya. La idea de este hostal es de proporcionar una linda atmósfera a nuestros invitados regalandoles una experiencia guatemalteca con nuestros tours guiados. Nos gusta aprender día a día de ustedes para mejorar nuestro servicio al cliente. Nos encanta conocer gente nueva de todo el mundo para poder intercambiar conocimientos. Les damos pues la bienvenida, venga a visitarnos y disfrute de la cuna de bellezas naturales.

We show them the true life and culture of Guatemala through living and working with a local family. A true intercultural exchange where we will show all of the tourist attractions of our pueblo, improve their spanish and give tips as to how to travel cheaply and safely in Guatemala.
Les mostreremos la verdadera vida y cultura Guatemalteca al convivir y trabajar junto a una familia local un verdadero cambio intercultural como tambien mostrarles todos los atractivos turisticos de mi pueblo, mejorar su idioma español y brindarles concejos de como viajar a bajo costo por Guatemala.

We are right now building our hostel. We need people that are able to build, to paint, to help with decoration, help in all areas of the hostel and of course we need to learn english; give us a hand to make us international. We expect people to be able to speak basic spanish and wūe need people as soon as possible.
Ahorita estamos construyendo nuestro acogedor hostal. Necesitamos voluntarios con ideas para decoracion, construccion, mantenimiento y personas con habilidad para dibujar asi como una ayuda con el ingles seria muy muy interesante como tambien gente para atender todas las areas del hostel.

We offer a private room but accomodation will depend on business needs. We have kitchen available and we offer 3 meals a day with our wonderful family.

We expect volunteers to help us up to 25 hours a week being able to organize their schedule depending on host and volunteers needs.
The area offers great activities such as caving, tubing, trekking and swimming and a rich mayan culture.

Esperamos que los voluntarios nos ayuden hasta 25 horas a la semana pudiendo organizar sus horarios acorde con las necesidades de ambas partes.
Les ofrece divertidas actividades como visita de cuevas, tubbing en los ríos, tour guiados a semuc champey, caminatas en las montañas y una rica cultura maya.
