Description
Our dream to change the city for the tranquility of the countryside and be self-sustaining is beginning to bear fruit. Around a year we have achieved our greenhouse mushroom production; vegetable garden; some fruits; plus a small plantation of lavender and rosemary to make essential oils.
We eat what we produce, we are happy and we want to share with you this great dream that has motivated many of our workawayers for making their own projects.
We financed with courses cultivation of edible and medicinal mushrooms and the sale of some of our products in organic fairs.
We are on the way to be self-sustaining we know that we have to much for doing but one day we will get.
We invite you to be part of this great project and share in family!

IF YOU WANT TO STAY AT LEAST 3 MONTHS AND YOU TALK SPANISH WE CAN MAKE A PAYMENT AGREEMENT
To start up with the vegetable garden we need lots of physical work to build the beds, add compost, mulch, etc.
You will be asked to give a hand with the maintenance of the green house and laboratory of mushrooms.
Since, the handling of the mushrooms can be complex, we ask you to stay for one month.
We can host up to 4 people at a time.
It is not allowed to use any kind of drugs

We have a bedroom with their own bathroom, hot water and wifi.

You could take a complete course of how to grow mushrooms. Participants learn tissue culture, spawn generation techniques, substrate preparation, inoculation techniques, and the role of mushrooms in a permacultural farm. Each participant receives 2 select mushroom strains for their own personal use.

I have stayed at the mushroom farm for one month and i had a great time there. The whole family is super friendly and they made really feel like at home during my stay. I could learn a lot about mushroom cultivation and the family always took time to answer my questions.

Este fue la mejor experiencia de voluntario que tuve. No sólo es un trabajo muy interesante, la familia es muy linda, el lugar tranquilo y el trabajo que hacen excelente. Me sirvió para decidir hacer proyectos similares en mi país. No se puede recomendar más.

We had a good experience with Andres. Learned loads about mushrooms. Three meals per day with the family were provided, they are really great chefs! We stayed in a 4-person room in the house.
