  Description

  Hey there! I'm Karthik, and I moved to Varkala two years ago. Recently, my friend Vikas and I opened a small community backpacking hostel where we live with our two little pups, Hero, and Brownie.
  
  Alongside running the hostel, we also operate an adventure activity company. Through it, we offer Surfing, Kayaking, SUP (Stand-UP Paddleboarding), boating, and free walking tours for our guests to enjoy the beauty of Varkala and its surroundings. During our free evenings, we also enjoy organizing village tours, practicing Kalari (Kerala martial arts), yoga sessions, swimming in the pond, taking chai and vada breaks, and occasionally catching movies at the theater.

  Checking in guests, maintaining our living and common areas, and ensuring rooms are immaculate. With plenty of green space, help with gardening, plant watering, weeding, composting, and recycling plastic waste is appreciated.

  If you're into wall art, we have opportunities to create artwork on our freshly painted walls.
  
  Events
  We're also looking for event planners to collaborate on local community initiatives like Sunday markets, live music gigs, and yoga retreats.

  Hébergement

  You will have shared accommodation (6 single beds in a room) with a detached shared washroom. You will also have access to the common fridge to stock your own groceries and to cook your meals.
  
  We can provide you basic meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), and also it's possible if you want to cook .
  The rooms are clean. Plenty of common space. Wi-fi included.
