  We cannot express our gratitude enough for considering our humble abode as your next volunteering destination. The opportunity to have your time and skills grace our waterfront property
  
  Let us paint a picture of our dwelling for you. Nestled amidst 5.5 acres of stunning waterfront scenery, our cozy single-floor home boasts two inviting bedrooms, a shared bathroom, a spacious living room, and a kitchen that practically begs for culinary creativity. our area is an Invitation to Adventure for Hiking, Kayaking, Canoeing, and Nature Walks, with Fishing Too if you got the tools!
  
  As for amenities, we take pride in providing everything you need for a comfortable stay. Our water source flows from a pristine well (in summer we must be careful with water), delivering refreshment straight from nature but please be mindful as our water source is from the well, and we must use it carefully, especially in the summer months.. And when the chill of the season sets in, rest assured that our combination of propane and electricity will keep you warm and cozy.
  
  Now, let's talk community living etiquette. We believe in fostering a harmonious environment where cleanliness and consideration are key. From bathroom tidiness to mindful pet interactions, your cooperation in maintaining shared spaces is deeply appreciated.
  
  When it comes to accommodation, you have your own private room whether you're unwinding on a bunk futon bed or basking in fresh air from the window, its place to lay your head at night.
  
  Allow us to introduce ourselves: Maria, a forthright soul in her 57th year, and Carl, a lively 74-year-old with a passion for music, board games, and stimulating conversations. Together, along with our furry companions Jigger, Polly, Bella, and Lucia, we form a close-knit family eager to welcome you into our fold.
  
  Our daily routine is flexible yet fulfilling, with a collective expectation for all volunteers to kickstart their day by 9 AM. From housekeeping to occasional food prep, your contributions are invaluable, especially when it comes to ensuring Carl's well-being during outdoor activities. now mind you in winter especially there is down time,
  
  Evenings are a time for relaxation and camaraderie, whether it's enjoying board games, tuning into television, or engaging in deep discussions on topics close to our hearts.
  
  And of course, there's the invitation to join us in the kitchen and beyond. Maria meal preparation, while assistance with pet care and the opportunity to learn basic guitar from Carl await those who are keen.
