Description
CRUISING Phuket THAILAND
From the from 20th of October for about two weeks then I will cruise back to Langkawi.
There is one in young man onboard and one more girl would be a good balance.
Experience living on a yacht cruising CRUISING PHUKET THAILAND from anchorage to anchorage with one or two nights stay at each place.
We use the my little dinghy to go to shore and investigate different places.
YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN TRAVEL INSURANCE BECAUSE OF RECENT CHANGES TO MY LIMITED THIRD PARTY INSURANCE COVER!
If you want experience life on a yacht then you’re welcome to come stay on my yacht and help with maintenance work.
I will require a helper who is not afraid to begin tasks with little supervision.
3 hours work a day.
5 day week.
SHARING THE COOKING & CLEANING.
SHARING THE COST OF FOOD IS A MUST BECAUSE YOU YOUNG PEOPLE EAT SO MUCH.
WHEN NOT HELPING, YOU CAN EXPLORE THE BEACHES & SIGHTSEEING ON LANGKAWI AND OTHER SMALL ISLANDS OR ABSORB THE BEAUTY OF THE SEA & LAND WHILE RELAXING ON MY BOAT.
No air conditioning on the yacht.
PEOPLE WITH MAINTENANCE SKILLS ARE ADVANTAGED.

You will learn to do light or minor maintenance on my yacht.
You will learn about yachts.
You will learn how to put up with a dry Australian sense of humour.

You must be willing to wash and clean and cook. You must be willing to do maintenance around my yacht.
You will be helping 3 hours a your day?
I am prone to be lazy and you will be required to Motivate me and encourage me to do work.

I do a lot of relaxing, not many tasks and plenty of leisure time.
No romance.
No drugs.
No excessive alcohol.
No smoking.

You will be living on a 38 foot Island spirit catamaran built in 2014. There are four cabins, two large, two small. two toilets and two showers. While cruising water is at a premium so no waste.

Tomasso and I got over the initial communication difficulties and found a common path. He is a excellent worker and begins tasks without being asked. All the work he has done is more than satisfied.

Wonderful experience, it was my first time on a boat. The captain is friendly and eager to teach a lot about sailing. This person is extremely quiet and it was a surprise to see that he has many skills including cooking.
He was great and made up a team of three when we were doing maintenance on my boat and nearly every bit of his work was spot on.

I stayed with Ian for about 8 days. It was great fun to help him. He is funny and you can talk to him about anything. I had almost no difficulty helping with the yacht work. Because the work done was what I knew and enjoyed doing. Life on the island is very nice. Quiet and calm. I hope we meet again one day. It is an honor to work with him🌱🥰

Robert was only with me a short while and in that time he proved to be a valuable worker. We got a lot done and he was not frightened to put in extra hours to get each job finished for the day. I would have no hesitation to have him back onboard in a instant. Any host will be happy to have him.

I enjoyed my time on the boat with Ian so much and it was a little dream come true. The work was manageable and Ian enjoyed teaching and explaining things about the boat. He did a lot to make sure we had a good time. Such a great opportunity that I will never forget.

He is a very quite man. Keeps to himself but does get involved in everyday conversations. The language barrier was apparent but over time we got used to each others ascents and got our massage across.
I found he did the adequate amount of work well. He is fussy with maintenance work did.

Eli was fun to be around.
Eli took the initiative on nearly all things on the boat she undertook.
Eli cleaned her cabin from top to bottom when she arrived and again when she left. Eli even washed all the bedding.
I did not need to ask her to be involved. Eli was often the instigator of tasks

It was my first experience on Workaway and it was so good. Ian is a very friendly person and the work what you do there on the catamaran is not really a work. It's the same things what you would do at home. A little bit cooking, washing up and cleaning.

Ian est une personne incroyable, attentionnée et très drôle. J'ai eu la chance de faire partie de cette aventure humaine durant une semaine et tout c'est très bien passé.
