  We are a young family from Slovenia. We live in Domžale, which is close to Ljubljana, our capital city. From our home you can catch the bus/train to the city or you can enjoy nature around our home. Right behind our house there is a meadow, we have a little garden ...
  We are an open-minded family with two energetic and playful kids. We love to travel and we love active life-style in general. As kids are growing and our english isn't brilliant, we decided to do something about that. We would like to host people who will speak a good english and help us improve ours by hanging out with us. In the mornings we go to school/kindergarden/jobs, but in the afternoons we like to be relaxed, go to the forest/playgrounds, we cook, play etc. So we are looking for someone to spend time with us in the afetrnoons and talks with us in english. A Workawayer staying with us would be treated as part of the family, not just a helper — welcome to join meals, activities, and everyday life with us.

  We are looking for someone who enjoys spending time with children and feels comfortable being playful, patient, and present with them. The main idea is to play together and use English in everyday life, so our children — and we as parents too — can naturally improve our language skills. Our kids are still at an early stage and don’t speak much English yet, so a warm, relaxed, and playful approach is very important.
  
  
  From time to time, we may ask for some evening babysitting, and occasionally for help with cooking or tidying up. These tasks are light and usually shared together. Our main goal is for the children to be exposed to English, to meet new people, and for all of us to explore different cultures together.
  
  Mornings are completely free, as we are not at home (kindergarten, school, work). Some afternoons we would spend together — playing, cooking, going for walks, or going on small trips. This Workaway is ideal for someone who loves kids, enjoys family life, and is looking for a relaxed, friendly cultural exchange rather than a strict schedule.

  We offer a separate part of our house for the Workawayer, which includes a small kitchen, a toilet, a comfortable couch, and a private exit to the outside.
  
  Please note that the shower is located on the upper floor and is shared with our family.
  
  We usually cook and eat together, so you’re very welcome to join us for meals and share time in the main kitchen and living areas.

  We follow a mostly vegetarian lifestyle. Healthy eating and mindful living are important to us, and we encourage a balanced, natural way of life.
  
  We also try to limit screen time for our children, focusing instead on play, learning, and spending time outdoors.

Internet connection is reliable, so you can work online without issues. Mornings are usually free, as we are out with the kids at kindergarten, school, or work. Afternoons are more family-focused, so if you prefer some quiet work time, mornings might be best. We appreciate flexibility and open communication to make sure your work and our family life fit well together.

  We have a garden and parking space available, so if you prefer, you are welcome to stay in your own accommodation like a campervan, motorhome. Our location is perfect for exploring the beautiful Slovenia — from here you can easily visit nearby nature spots, charming towns, and the capital Ljubljana. You’ll have access to basic facilities at our home, and we’re happy to share meals and time together in the afternoons.
