My name's Hary, from Indonesia, an English graduate of Jakarta University. I live in Wonosobo, Central Java. I was born in Wonosobo but grew up in Yogyakarta. These two are the magnificent tourism spots in central java where lie those colorful Prambanan and Borobudur temples, Mt. Merapi, and Dieng plateau.
Recently I have two different projects actually: English classes for the local community (kids and adult) and producing videos youtube contents. I teach English both on and off line. And perhaps it's a good idea to have hands from you in form of speaking partners from home. So I'll appreciate if you can take parts in this project on line. You don't have to speak a perfect English for this purpose, as my students are mostly beginners. Being partners for their speaking practice of daily conversation will be very valuable for them.

I'm a talk active in general matters, wide open minded, and love showing you something, so I hope you will have a picture of our way of life in Java.
For a movie, producing together a small documentary of our rural life might also take you to a detail knowledge of our real life. Learning Indonesian language might be another interest. I have also possible side link for you to practice Batik (manually painted clothes) as well as Gamelan (traditional set of javanese music instrument). But most of all, never get shock of my sense of jokes. Laughing is a dominant part of my life.

If you are a qualified in art project like film and its relating filed, I'm sure that I'll just learn from you. I have a small local community to work with, just for fun and a big plan in future, and have just produced with them a short of comedy fiction.
Remember, I have no rule for your choice of projects, you may join those two all together or just any of them. What we need together is arranging the schedule.

I would provide you with free bedroom and a two-meal day as long as you stay with me. In spare time during your stay, if I'm not too busy I can possibly take you round for sight seeings. Mobile WiFi is available.
I'd prefer those of big humor, smiling and laughing since I believe happiness in any matter always starts from this atmosphere. I need to confirm that you like children in the English classes. I'm myself a heavy smoker, so I don't mind if you are. But no alcohol, nor drugs.
We have lots to see round Bantul, Yogyakarta. The beach and the town of Yogyakarta can easily be reached simply by a public bus on the busy road next to the village. You can use our motorbike when it's spare. You can always hire one, otherwise. (Again, for those who are firstly step on our country, our daily easy transport is motorbikes. And what we call a motorbike is NOT at all the one of more than 200cc-off-roader, but under it). Yogyakarta is rewarded as the hugest region of motor bikers. You won't believe that in this area, a family has at least two motors. But now you can imagine how the roads will be messy with those two-wheel creatures.
Now, in the south we have beautiful beach spots facing directly to the Indonesian Ocean. Bantul Region has two different and separated hills, where you will be able to enjoy beautiful landscapes from their peaks. Yogyakarta has the famous street called Malioboro, Sultan Palace, the beautiful historical parks of Sultan wives called Tamansari. The largest and most well-known temple of Prambanan is just outside the city. In the north we have the deadly Mt Merapi, rewarded as the most violent volcano, where you can reach only up to his 3-km slope point from the top, since it's closed for any climbers when he is mad. To reach the greatest temple of Borobudur, you need only an hour drive out of the city.
