  Description

  My name's Kellie, i live with my husband Simon and our 5 kids on Kangaroo Island. Our eldest is 18 and works full-time. We have one daughter who is 15 and three boys who are 8 and twin 6 year olds, that attend the local school. Our house is situated on 7 acres , 3km from the main town of Kingscote on Kangaroo Island. We have many animals including dogs, cats, chooks, ducks, geese, mini goats, ponies, pigs, emus, sheep, cows, an Eclectus parrot, magpie and bearded dragons. We also have a 400 acre farm where we have sheep and a few cows. Simon works full-time whether it be on the farm or for a livestock company and I work 3 days a week on a farm that runs over 9,000 sheep. We are an extremely down to earth, easy going, fun loving family. We enjoy camping, fishing and spending time down the beach.

  You will be staying with a typical Australian family. You will get to spend time and get to know lots of various animals. Since you'll be staying with us you'll be able to come along and watch various sports being played, depending on what time of year you are here. You'll get to visit our beautiful beaches, national parks, the tourist hotspots and places that are special to our family.

  Aide

  We are looking for someone to give us a hand. With us being extremely busy we are after some help cleaning in and around the house and yard, gardening, looking after animals and helping out on the farm. We are also in the process of renovating and painting so experience in these areas would be a bonus.

  Hébergement

  You will be staying in a caravan close to our home and have the use of our laundry and bathroom facilities. Meals can either be shared with our family or taken to eat in the caravan. You'll have access to our kitchen at all times. If you would prefer you can prepare and cook your own meals to eat in the caravan. But the facilities will be limited. If you love cooking, the kitchen is yours to use as you please. Our family loves food 😁

  Autres infos...

  In your spare time you can travel around the island and see how beautiful it is. There is no public transport so if you have your own car it's definitely a bonus. If you don't have a car we can possibly work something out with one of our vehicles. As we are farmers and grow and process our own meat, our lifestyle may not suit vegans or vegetarians.
