  We are a family-run business located in Melipeuco, next to Conguillío National Park and close to attractions like the Llaima volcano, Sollipulli, and Lake Icalma. Our tourist center is a place where teamwork and mutual respect are essential. We support and care for each other, and we love sharing our way of life and work with travelers.
  
  Here, you'll enjoy a friendly atmosphere and have the chance to learn while working on various tasks related to tourism and maintaining the center. You'll also have time to explore the surrounding nature, go on hikes, and visit nearby places. We are looking for volunteers with a positive attitude, responsibility, and a willingness to learn. No prior experience is required, though if you have skills in maintenance, customer service, or gastronomy, that's a plus!

  Somos una empresa familiar ubicada en Melipeuco, junto al Parque Nacional Conguillío y cerca de atractivos como el volcán Llaima, el Sollipulli y el lago Icalma. Nuestro centro turístico es un lugar donde el trabajo en equipo y el respeto mutuo son fundamentales. Nos cuidamos y apoyamos entre todos, y nos encanta compartir nuestra forma de vivir y trabajar con los viajeros.
  
  Aquí, podrás disfrutar de un ambiente amigable y aprender mientras trabajas en diversas tareas relacionadas con el turismo y el mantenimiento del centro. Además, tendrás tiempo para explorar la naturaleza que nos rodea, realizar caminatas por el parque y conocer lugares cercanos. Buscamos voluntarios con una actitud positiva, responsables y con ganas de aprender, sin necesidad de experiencia previa, aunque si tienes conocimientos en áreas como el mantenimiento, atención al público o gastronomía, ¡será un plus!

  We value human relationships and cultural exchange very much. That is why we offer various social activities where workawayers can connect with both our family and team and the local community. Some of these activities include: Barbecues and shared meals: We love to gather around a good barbecue or a typical Chilean meal. It is an excellent opportunity to get to know those who work with us better and share stories and experiences. Participation in local events: Depending on the time of year, workawayers can participate in fairs, festivals or cultural activities in Melipeuco. This not only allows them to connect with the community, but also to experience local folklore and traditions. Skills and knowledge we can share From our experience in the tourism sector, we can share various skills and knowledge with workawayers: Hotel management: We teach how to run a tourist center efficiently, from welcoming guests to managing reservations and daily logistics. Traditional cuisine: If you are interested in gastronomy, we will teach you how to prepare typical dishes from the area, with local ingredients and traditional recipes. Sustainable tourism: We share our experience in sustainability, showing how we manage our tourism activities with a focus on caring for the environment and the local community. What we hope to learn By hosting people from other cultures, we hope to learn about new ways of working and perspectives. We want to get to know the traditions, customs and gastronomy of our workawayers’ places of origin, and how they can be applied to our daily operation. This cultural exchange enriches not only our team, but also the local community, helping us to expand our worldview and strengthen intercultural ties.
  
  Valoramos mucho las relaciones humanas y el intercambio cultural. Por eso, ofrecemos diversas actividades sociales en las que los workawayers pueden conectarse tanto con nuestra familia y equipo como con la comunidad local. Algunas de estas actividades incluyen:
  
  Asados y comidas compartidas: Nos encanta reunirnos alrededor de una buena parrillada o una comida típica chilena. Es una excelente oportunidad para conocer mejor a quienes trabajan con nosotros y compartir historias y experiencias.
  
  Participación en eventos locales: Dependiendo de la época del año, los workawayers pueden participar en ferias, festivales o actividades culturales de Melipeuco. Esto no solo les permite conectarse con la comunidad, sino también experimentar el folclore y las tradiciones locales.
  
  Habilidades y conocimientos que podemos compartir
  
  Desde nuestra experiencia en el sector turístico, podemos compartir varias habilidades y conocimientos con los workawayers:
  
  Gestión hotelera: Enseñamos cómo operar un centro turístico de manera eficiente, desde la recepción de huéspedes hasta la gestión de reservas y la logística diaria.
  
  Cocina tradicional: Si te interesa la gastronomía, te enseñaremos a preparar platos típicos de la zona, con ingredientes locales y recetas tradicionales.
  
  Turismo sustentable: Compartimos nuestra experiencia en sostenibilidad, mostrando cómo gestionamos nuestras actividades turísticas con un enfoque en el cuidado del medio ambiente y la comunidad local.
  
  
  Lo que esperamos aprender
  
  Al acoger a personas de otras culturas, esperamos aprender sobre nuevas formas de trabajo y perspectivas. Queremos conocer las tradiciones, costumbres y gastronomía de los lugares de origen de nuestros workawayers, y cómo pueden aplicarse a nuestra operación diaria. Este intercambio cultural enriquece no solo a nuestro equipo, sino también a la comunidad local, ayudándonos a expandir nuestra visión del mundo y a fortalecer los lazos interculturales.

  We are looking for people over 25 years old who are willing to work and collaborate in various tasks, such as maintenance, cleaning, kitchen support and customer service. The most important thing is to have a positive and responsible attitude and be willing to work as a team. We value the willingness to learn and help in whatever is necessary.
  
  Buscamos personas mayores de 25 años con ganas de trabajar y colaborar en diversas tareas, como mantenimiento, limpieza, apoyo en la cocina y atención a los visitantes. Lo más importante es tener una actitud positiva, responsable y estar dispuestos a trabajar en equipo. Valoramos la disposición para aprender y ayudar en lo que sea necesario.

  Hébergement

  We offer a dynamic work environment, with a 5-day-a-week, 5-hour workday. During their stay, volunteers will share a room and bathroom, and we will provide them with three meals a day: breakfast from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m., lunch from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m., and eleven from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. It is important that each volunteer brings their own toiletries, such as toilet paper, shampoo, soap, among others. In addition, they must accept our rules of coexistence, which include a maximum time of entry to the premises from outside at 00:00 hours and the start of quiet time to guarantee everyone's rest.
  
  Ofrecemos un ambiente de trabajo dinámico, con una jornada de 5 días a la semana, 6 horas por día. Durante su estadía, los voluntarios compartirán habitación y baño, y les proporcionaremos tres comidas diarias: desayuno de 7:00 a 10:00 horas, almuerzo de 13:00 a 14:30 horas y once de 18:00 a 19:30 horas.
  
  Es importante que cada voluntario traiga sus propios artículos de aseo personal, como papel higiénico, shampoo, jabón, entre otros. Además, deberán aceptar nuestro reglamento de convivencia, que incluye un horario máximo de entrada al recinto desde el exterior a las 00:00 horas y el inicio del horario de silencio para garantizar el descanso de todos.
