Description
Hi I am Chris. I live in an old Victorian Country House set on a 1 acre garden at the foot of the Slieve Bloom Mountains which has many lovely walking trails and mountain bike trails. I play traditional Irish music on the fiddle, enjoy walking when I get the chance photography and gardening. I need help in the garden, maintenance around the house and the usual house hold chores.
I will only host 2 people who are travelling together or people who will share with another person. Must be fully vaccinated against Covid 19

Meeting and interaction with tourists and local people. Experiencing the local food and exchanging dishes. Experiencing the local Irish music tradition. ( Last Wednesday of the month in the local pub. every Thursday night in Chestnut pub Birr) New Mountain Bike trails just open from the village.

I bought this house 30 years ago and have spent my life improving it. I have a large garden which needs continual maintenance such as hedge trimming, weeding, watering window boxes landscaping and improving it.
I run a part time bed and breakfast which is usually only busy at weekends in the summertime. I have a local worker employed for this and will not need any help in preparing rooms. It is closed from mid October to the end of March. Since Covid 19 the bed and breakfast is very quiet and I have reduced the number of guest rooms to 3.
Help is usually 5 hours per day 5 days per week. Times by arrangement. In return I provide all your meals, accommodation and free unlimited wifi.
I can only accommodate 2 people who will share a bedroom.
Mountain bikes are available to use when they are not required by guests.
When you arrive I can pick you up from the bus in Birr. Look up kearnstransport for cheapest bus fares to Birr. Also look up Local link who provide some public transport by bus to Kinnitty

Kinnitty is a small picturesque village in the centre of Ireland less than 2 hours drive from almost anywhere in Ireland. The nearest public transport from Dublin is to Birr and Roscrea There is a very limited public transport through Local Link to Kinnitty.
Kinnitty has 2 pubs, a cafe and a small convenience store. I am in the village which is near the Slieve Bloom Mountains. Lots of walking trails and mountain biking trails. Other attractions are Traditional Irish music on the last Wednesday of the month in the local pub. Both pubs have music at the weekends. Lough Boora Parklands, Birr Castle gardens and Telescope, Haunted Leap Castle and Clonmacnoise are other attractions nearby. Or you can relax and read, use the internet.

She is a great worker who has everything really good .
She is a good teacher and cooker and is so nice, been so patient. She also play violin and we had funny moments in pubs
