  Description

  Hello, my name is Paul and with my wife, Marie, we run holiday Appartements and a small bar on the island of Ruegen, Moenchgut, Germany.
  We lie directly on the water, and have a small private beach and pier.
  
  We are looking for Seasonal waiting Staff and a support Chef for our beach bar. The positions are available only for stays of at least 2-3months. The job is paid to standard German minimum wage standards. The positions are available from the 01.April 2025 until 01.November 2025.
  
  If you are interested you must be able to speak and understand German, have a permit to work in Germany and have experience working Bars and Restaurants.
  
  Working hours tend to be 6-7 hours a day, 5 - 6 days a week in the main Season June, July, August, more hours are available.
  
  We offer on site accomadation which is shared amongst 2 employees. Some meals are catered for. The appartment contains all necessary amenities and Wlan and access to bicycles to explore the island in your free time.
  
  The bar itself lies directly on the water with a private beach, we like to have a very relaxed atmosphere and try to always offer something new and unexpected for our Visitors.
  .
  We can offer other employment for shorter stays, though this is mainly cleaning holiday appartments and supporting the main Waitress and bar personell. These stays are for a minimum of one month, and workers stay in a smaller shared accomadation .

  Our helpers benefit from the opportunity to learn And practice German and English. But also to explore the natural beauty of this part of the world. There are miles of sandy beaches, forests to explore, plenty of water sports, or simply relaxing.
  We have bikes for visitors to use to explore the island.
  We also have Kayaks and Windsurf boards.

  Aide

  Waiter/Waitress. We have one job available as a full time waitress, this involves preparing for setting up and opening the bar. Taking food and drink orders from guests, serving food and drinks and handling payment. The job can be very busy and intensive at times but well rewarded.
  
  Support Chef. We have a job available which involves preparing the kitchen for main service, cleaning of the kitchen and cooking of some dishes. When the main Chef is on duty then this job can also involve helping the main Waitress or Bar personell.
  
  Cleaning Staff. We have positions available for cleaning staff, whose responsibility it is to clean the holiday appartments in preparation for guests arrivals. This work is usually on a weekend. Responsibilities also involve keeping the entrances and general area clean and tidy.
  In the week staff are needed to help support the bar and waitress personell.

  The flat sleeps two people, so is ideally suited to pairs traveling or people happy to share the room and or jobs.
  
  Short Term Stay (1 month) 15m2 Room. 2 Beds, small kitchenette. Sink. Shower and WC shared (not in the room).
  Generally helpers have to cater for themselves but we do offer food at the bar aswell.
  The flat sleeps two people, so is ideally suited to pairs traveling or people happy to share the room and or jobs.
