  Description

  The site is an adventure lodge and hostel located in the outskirts of Urubici city in the state of Santa Catarina. We offer you a very pleasant, cozy atmosphere, with beautiful mountainous landscapes among the main tourist attractions of the region. Our goal is to provide unique moments and unforgettable experiences. We offer ample space full of trails between a nebular forest of native Araucarias, bordering the picturesque Rio do Bispo with its clean and crystalline waters. Because we are neighbors of the National Park of Serra Geral, we offer alternative accommodations in strategic points of the forest where one can enjoy the most beautiful landscapes.
  If hotels offer 5 stars we offer constellations of them, the sky here has no light interference from the cities so the nights are usually extremely bright.
  Besides trekking amongst the pristine mountains, this is also a beautiful environment to cycle, mountain bike and experience horse riding.
  
  Please note that we share our home with 2 dogs (sometimes 3) and four cats :)

  We wish for you to live in and explore the surroundings here. To be open, and willingly connect with the essence, the Nature of the space, to learn how to live symbiotically with Nature as opposed to fearing her. Here you have the opportunity to observe and learn about the native flora and fauna, especially the Araucarias that are endemic to this area, and that also provide us with a nutritious food. We live communally and share the general tasks, so we want you to understand this sense of community. Interact with and enjoy the activities and cultural differences that are available here; enjoy different foods, drinks and exchange languages (here we speak Brasileiro, Hebrew, French as well as English).
  We are also able to offer other various skills and share knowledge; survival tactics, trekking and explanations of geographical happenings, plants and animals, bonding with as well as riding horses...
  If you are interested in learning something particular, all you need to do is ask :)

  Aide

  The exchange is 3-4 hours of work 5 days per week, as we wish to provide the time for each of you to explore the incredible surroundings as well.
  We accept a maximum of three volunteers at a time for a minimum of 1 week and a maximum of 3 months.
  
  Currently, (as well in the future) we will be looking for people who are skilled in:
  Carpentry (or have experience building with wood)
  Managing online content (responding to messages, making bookings, social media)
  Cooking (for volunteers and team)

  Hébergement

  Depending on how busy we are with guests, there are various forms of accommodation available.
  The first being our main hostel with many beds to choose from, next is the option of camping (please provide your own tent) and then lastly, if it is available, we also have a wooden cabin.
  
  We do provide Wifi connection here, but it is only available in particular areas of the property.
  
  We provide breakfast, lunch and supper.
  We prefer to cook and eat together, but sometimes you will need to cook for yourself.

  Autres infos...

  The easiest way in which to travel to Urubici is to either fly directly to Florianopolis, or take a bus there.
  From Florianopolis you need to take a bus or a taxi to Urubici city which is about a 3 hour travel.
  We are located about 20kms from the city, so before or when you arrive in Urubici city please phone us or send a message and we will organise transport.
