  Description

  I'm married with Valeria and we have three children, a 16-year-old daughter and two boys aged 14 and 11. We live together with our dog Lila, a small border collie, in an early 1900s house with a garden, 2 km away from the city center of Lucca.
  I'm working as Product Manager in an international software house and my wife is working in the administration of an institute of advanced studies, here in Lucca.
  We bought our house few years ago and we love to make it better and doing maintenance by ourselves, however when we discovered workaway we liked the idea of having some help and at the same time getting to know new people and cultures, we also think that this is a great opportunity for our kids too.

  Aide

  We are looking for someone who may help with some maintenance job in the house, such as renewing some old wooden windows, doors or handrail that need to be sanded, filled, and repainted.

  Hébergement

  We have the possibility to host our guests in a quite big attic with exposed beams and terracotta floors at the second floor of the house, with private bathroom. The second floor will be at disposal of our guests, can comfortably host a couple, and is equipped with HiFi, television and internet connection.
  The rest of the house consists of a first floor where we have our bedrooms and bathrooms, and a ground floor with two living room, a study, a bathroom and a big kitchen from where we can enter in the garden, where there are a sort of winter garden and a patio where we usually have dinner in summer.
