Hello my name is Mahir
I am married and have one little baby girl. I have been working in an airline company and traveling all around the world for over 13 years.
I have a big house near Istanbul airport. I am hosting people who are looking a place during their travel. This place gives me chance to meet different people from all over the world while I am at home. My house has 4 rooms I share some of them with travelers. but sometimes I need a hand, somebody to guide my guest while I am busy with my other duties.
We are not expecting more than a daily house duty.

You can learn about Istanbul and Turkish people. You will have a lot have time to explore this beautiful city. we have a big villa with warm neighbors. you can experience local hospitality as well as you can meet our guest from all over the world.
The place is not located in crowded area which give an opportunity to see village life of Istanbul. This is a har thing even for Turkish people. We feel very lucky about that.

I have a big house near Istanbul airport and i host people around the world during their tralvel.
Sometimes help with housework and meeting people when i am not around.
If you like to stay with us you will have a private room and shared kitchen.
Villa is 45 mins from old Istanbul city center.
There is a bus line which you use easily.

I am truly grateful that Mahir opened his home for me. It is such a beautiful triplex with a peaceful surrounding. I would have stayed much longer if there was another volunteer working with me. It can be quite overwhelming if you have to wait for late, 1am check-in and get up super early to help for checkout such as booking a taxi for guests.

She has a lot of experiences and knows how to do the work.
But unfortunately she is not trustable. She left 13 days before her the date She promised, just she had another offer. Morover she left when i am away. My guests locked out and i had to cancel a lot of reservations.
This platform works on mutual trust and that's the basic rule.

Dee stayed with us almost 1 month. It was a perfect workaway experience for us.
She is profesionnal and well organized.
She helped us with cleaning and preparing rooms, welcoming guests.
She also help us with kitchen. She was like a family member to us.

I spent a month at the villa guesthouse helping with the turnover of the rooms, laundering bedding, checking in and making breakfast for guests. The work was easy and only a couple of hours a day.

It was wonderfull, sadly I did not meet Mahir but is Cousin Salih made me feel more then family. Very carasmatic and the view and food was excellent. Salih was incredibly welcoming and generous during our short stay. There was not much work to do and none of it was difficult.

We had good communication with Emmaline and Tyreik before thier arrival.
We agreed with one month stay
After a couple of days their arrival. They decided to leave.
We didn't want to keep them longer unwillingly.
It would be better if they respected our agreement.

George joined us and he said he is okey with the duties.
But suddenly when are not home he texted us that he had an instant 'allergy' left the house without warning.
He didn't reply our messages and calls.
We had to cancel our reservations just because of him.

I've stayed 5days with Salih and experience good days. we exchanged the culture and huge history discussions. I left the Workaway with 2 days notice and Salih agreed with it.
