  Description

  hi,
  we are a french family owning a very old country hollidays family 's house in Charente, south west. A lot of history and a lot of renovation since 350 years. We love family time, nice food, swimming, laughing, biking, horse ridding ...and working together. I'm Isabelle, one of the family, living 5 km away from this family house, and i've travelling a lot and workawaying myself. We thought, it was a ggod idear and a perfect place to offer to futur workawayers. Many things to do, all sorts, gardening, building and maintenance, cooking, shopping, depends of what you can offer. Sometimes, it would full house and you can help us but, if you are independant and if you are ok spending time by yourself, it's possible too.

  You would have a full immersion in typical french tribe ! Load of family, neighbours, friends will welcome you for sharing meals, country 's walks, looking for mushrooms, concerts, local's events... french way of life. We are just happy to host some foreigners or french people willing to share their ways of life and their world 's vision.

  Aide

  It could be average gardenning like weeding, fighting bush ( with success), cooking fot the family, pushing wheelbarrow, mixing mortar etc. For more experienced people, we have a lot of tools and we do stone, wood, steel. But welcome, we are not expecting you to be an expert but just curious and happy to learn and try.

  Hébergement

  We can host you in an individual bedroom if free otherwise a share dormitory. If you come and stay when we are here, it would be sharing all meals with us. If you'r happy coming when nobody is here, we expect only 2 h a day but we only supply basic grocery like pasta, rice, cans ... and you cook for yourself and eat at Isabelle's place once and again.
  You also can stay in your van.

  Autres infos...

  If you like city life, not for you ! it's a remote house in the country, and if you'd like discovering french coutry style, it's for you. We would be very happy to take you all around with us, swimming in the river, going to the market, visiting friends etc, simple life but we are very friendly and happy and we know a lot of people so you shouldn't be bored.
