My husband and I are managing a 20-room boutique hotel near Yalikavak/Bodrum, a major tourist destination in Turkey. We have 9 years old twins (one boy and one girl) who have some basic knowledge of English. We are looking for a friendly native English speaker who can spend time with them. We live within the hotel premises but have a totally private house. We are easy going people and like outdoors activities such as tennis, hiking, swimming, windsurfing, etc.

Bodrum area is a major tourist destination. There is sun/sea/fun/culture/history.
We are about 2km from Yalikavak downtown (which is quaint fishing village with a posh new marina). Well known for its breathtaking sunsets, and charming windmills, Yalikavak offers a great local experience for travellers strolling around beautiful white-washed houses, small cafes and shops on the cascading bougainvillea lined, narrow streets.

Described as ‘the land of eternal blue’ by Homer, only 18 kilometers from Yalikavak, the ancient town of Halicarnassus is now called Bodrum. This delightfully charming coastal town with 3,000 years of history offers a fascinating medley of exciting sights, tastes, aromas and people.

Bodrum was once home to the famous historian Heredotus (484-425 BC) and the Mausoleum, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, it is now the entertainment and culture capital of the Southern Aegean. Shopping in charming boutique shops, dining at various restaurants, local or cosmopolitan, visiting historical sites such as the majestic castle built by the Knights of Rhodes, catching live performances and attending festivals are some of the many options for cultured travelers visiting Bodrum.

Within 5 minute walk from the hotel there is regular bus service to Yalikavak. From Yalikavak there is public transportation to most towns within Bodrum peninsula.
