Description
Hi there! My name is Sergio and my wife. We live in the countryside in the San Clemente area near Talca, Maule Region. We have an agroecological farm and our main activity is the production of eggs from happy free-range chickens. We also have some sheep and crops on terraces. We are in central Chile, a wine area, olive oil, Mediterranean climate and where you will find the most deeply rooted traditions of the Chilean countryside.
Volunteers will have the opportunity to develop in the chicken coop, in the classification of eggs, organic crops, small constructions, among others.
We prefer volunteers who stay at least 2 weeks and we have a separate home for you.

Hola! Me llamo Sergio, somos dos con mi mujer. Vivimos en el campo en la zona de San Clemente cerca de Talca, Región del Maule. Tenemos una granja agroecológica y nuestra principal actividad es la producción de huevos de gallinas en libre pastoreo, también tenemos algunas ovejas y cultivos en bancales . Estamos en Chile central, zona de vinos, aceite de oliva, clima mediterráneo y donde encontrarás las más arraigadas tradiciones del campo chileno.
Los voluntarios tendrán la oportunidad de desarrollar actividades en el gallinero, en la clasificación de huevos , cultivos orgánicos, pequeñas construcciones, entre otras.
Preferimos voluntarios que se queden al menos 2 semanas, tenemos una vivienda aparte para ustedes.

In the area are national parks as the "Siete Tazas" and "Altos de Lircay" . Also Wine Routes, where you can visit different vineyards, trips to the mountains and Laguna del Maule. All places of breathtaking beauty. You can also visit the coast of the Maule with fishing villages. An alternative is to go by train along the Maule river.
People who live in our area are mostly farmers living of what gives the earth. There is associated with agriculture industries. The cities of Talca and San Clemente has all the services.
En la zona se encuentran parques nacionales como las Siete Tazas, Altos del Lircay. También Rutas del Vino, en donde se pueden visitar diferentes viñas. Paseos a la cordillera y Laguna del Maule. Todos lugares de impresionante belleza. También se puede visitar la costa del maule con caletas de pescadores. Una alternativa es ir en tren bordeando el río Maule.
Las personas que habitan en nuestra zona son principalmente campesinos que viven de lo que da la tierra. Existe industrias asociadas a la agricultura. Las ciudades Talca y San Clemente cuentan con todos los servicios.

El ambiente era muy lindo, una familia cariñosa. Tambien nos han ayudado en muchas cosas, muchas gracias! Somos feliz conocer les!
Nos quedamos une semana a la granja y aprendamos mucho: ordeñar vacas y cabras, hacer queso, disfrutar la vida tranquila al campo, etc. Ademàs, la bondad y la generosidad de toda la familia fue exceptional.
