Description
This is a nonprofit located on the northern coast of Peru in Salaverry . Here we provide free surf, sand boarding and English classes for kids who do not have access to these opportunities due to their socio-economic status among other things. We are dedicated to uplifting the community by focusing on empowering the younger generation and providing children with opportunities that they may not have had otherwise. We provide them with a safe-space that promotes a positive lifestyle that can help prevent kids from getting into trouble and focus on enabling them socially, emotionally and intellectually.
In addition we engage in beach clean-ups, and other environmental and community building projects.

You will have the ability to be immersed in Peruvian culture and create meaningful and long-lasting relationships with kids in the area. Some of the kids we work with lead very different lives and have lived through experiences that may be very different than your own. This can really help to broaden your world view and provide a very enriching experience overall. In addition, you will get to know people from all over the world who volunteer with us or other nonprofits and who come to the area on vacation. There are plenty of opportunities to become apart of the Salaverry/Huanchaco (surf) community and make new friends and experiences.

Get the opportunity to make a difference in a kids life! We are looking for volunteers to help in the following ways:
- Surf instructor
- Someone to help us build our English (ESL) Curriculum
- English Teacher (March-December)
- Fundraising Coordinator
- Help with our sand-board tours (we'll teach you!)
- Publicity and social media manager/content creator
- Environmental Project Coordinator
- Volunteer Coordinator
We are looking for a volunteer coordinator for more than two months.
We are always excited to have any type of help or expertise and are very welcoming to new ideas or things that we can add to our nonprofit to make it better. Work with us and we can maybe make some other project you would like to do happen!

You will be able to stay in our volunteer house in the area, with hot water, common areas and equipped kitchen. You will also have discounts in some restaurants and in the gym.
You will also have the opportunity to surf and sand surf at no cost to you.

Peru is known as one of the culinary capitals of the world, so there is no doubt you will enjoy the cheap yet delicious food here in the northern coast of Peru. There are also numerous historical sites nearby such as Huaca de la Luna y Sol y Chan Chan. In Peru, it is very easy and cheap to travel by bus, so it is easy for volunteers to go on trips over the weekend to visit more of Peru and see the mountains, jungle, historical sites, desert or more beautiful beaches.
