Description
Hi, we are Katharina, Luciano and our two sons (3 and 11 years), a german-brazilian family. We built our guest house in a paradisiacal environment in Paraty.
It is an eco guesthouse and a place of nature, plantation and arts. Characterized by an creative and familiar atmosphere. The location consists of four independent chalets for renting and our house. We receive lots of guest from all over the world.
We are entrepreneurs, musicians, social workers, gardeners, nature lovers, writers, creative and adventurous people dedicated to live an active and free life close to nature. We are a friendly, open minded, responsible and confident family happy to share our piece of paradise with you!!

The travellers will love our place!! Its full of nature, culture and autentic lifestyle. You can learn about plantation, nature and organic alimentation. Depending on the session you will get to kno diferent plants, fruits and herbs.
You can learn about construction and sustainable ways of building. As well as about brazilian culture and lifing. On top the region around Paraty is a paradise!!! So many things to explore in your free time.

At the moment we need special help for maintenance and construction tasks like painting houses, cleaning stairs working with wood or carrying materials.

Hébergement
The volunteer (best is a couple or 2 friends) will stay in a private room with terrace and hammock just next to the forest. You have access to bathroom and kitchen.
Normally we would have lunch together with the volunteers. Breakfast and dinner the volunteers prepare by themselves. We offer you all the basic food for preperation!
We need volunteers are, responsible, easy going and hard working. Please notice that its a nature place, that means that there can be heat, mosquitos, humity, dirt and lot of pure and beautiful nature!
We are located 8 km outside the city center of Paraty, 2-3 km away from 5 beautiful beaches (30-45 minutes walk) and 6 km away from a gorgeous waterfall. There're frequently buses anywhere!! We are located 300 meters away from the bus stop.

it is located in a rural and peaceful area, on a steep hill 50 m above sea level just 300 meters away from the main street. Situated 8 km outside of the World Heritage town of Paraty and 2 km away from the idyllic fisher village "Praia Grande". Within 30 min walking distance (2 km) there are 5 amazing beaches, restaurants (just opend during the day), natural pools and viewpoints. You can reach this destination by car, by walking, by bike, by bus or by our transfer service.
The 2 km distant fisher village Praia Grande offers: grocery, bakery, restaurants, fishmongers and a wonderful beach for swimming. There you can charter a boat and explore the most beautiful beaches of Paraty bay, cross over in 5 min to the Island Araújo or rent a canoe and paddle to lonesome beaches.
